Oldest Lake Garden in Malaysia

This garden located up north... about 3 hours drive from the polluted metropolitan city of Kuala Lumpur. This garden is famous for its peaceful lake and all the surrounding greenery since 1880... So where is this lake garden located?

Day One - November 26th 2009
KY has organized a blogger gathering yesterday. We always have our blogger gathering @ YUEN Buffet Steamboat, Sunway. Thanks KY for going there early to reserve a table for all of us... Basically this round we only have 6 people... I met couples of bloggers face to face in YUEN. Anyone interested to join on the next gathering?

Day Two - November 27th 2009
My sis wanna to go Klang for seafood... My dad said it's too far for us to travel all the way to Klang for seafood... Mom suggested YUEN after hearing my promotion on this place... I would like to thanks Twilight for introduce me to this place. So I actually met Twilight again tonight @ YUEN after the blogger gathering yesterday. His friend treated him the dinner @ YUEN..

The Seafood Platter

There are all kinds of seafood e.g. Shrimps, Crab, Sea cucumber, Fishes etc... and one more item that KlangKia likes it so much... *Drum* So anyone can guess?
Yup! It's Oysters... he likes Oyster so much that sometime he was craving for Oysters and couldn't resist to pay a visit to YUEN.

There are lots more food which i couldn't describe all in this post... One of their signature food is BBQ Chicken Wings... in my mind interpretted the fighting for chicken wings "No Fight No BBQ Chicken Wings" ... I always have no luck :( ...

Anyway, do pay a visit to YUEN and experiencec the difference... Why i say so?

This is why i say it's a different... Before i left the place @ about 8:45pm and lots of people still queuing to enter YUEN... this is what i said the difference experience... they actually testing your patient while waiting...

Overall, YUEN is a recommended place for Steamboat buffet... but don't expect too much on the ambiance... It's very basic facilities with friendly staff... :)

P/S: i marked my 59th outlet of Starbie @ Amcorp Mall last Saturday. This outlet is the smallest outlet among all the 60th outlets that i placed my foot print... anyway, the staff and customers over this outlet were very friendly... I felt like home :)

Today, when i walked around the Curve. I realized almost 7 out of 10 people walking in the mall are sick... they sneezed and coughed... Are they infected by H1N1 or just a normal seasonal flu... Who can really tell us how many case of H1N1 now in Malaysia?

I was not very comfortable if there were cases of H1N1 but our lovely government just covered up... hopefully they are not... Are Malaysian still save to walk around in the mall, work out in the gym, eat in the restaurant etc... Anyone would be able to givse us some answer... i think our health minister is too busy with the political party related stuff... So help please help... Are we really in trouble with H1N1?

Oldest Zoo in Malaysia

Two Sunday ago, i got this opportunities to visit the oldest Zoo in Malaysia after so many years. I still remember i visited this zoo once when i was in Primary 6.

First of all, the oldest Zoo is not the National Zoo... So it's not in Kuala Lumpur. Anyone know where is the oldest Zoo in Malaysia?

So where is the Oldest Zoo in Malaysia?

Am i really a loony?

Why i choose this title as this entry? Let me give you a brief executive summary. On 1118, one of my fellow blog follower wrote a peom about his blogger friends which included me. (Thanks dude for writing this so called "Humorous" peom. I don't know whether you have difficulty to choose the English word or you done this on purpose. Anyway, only you yourself know the answer)... So my fellow reader, the person actually called me a Loony in his peom. What is Loony in case you don't know

Next let me share with you the poem

Gym addict + (Starbucks or Bad Ass Coffee - Oldtown) + Travel + Photography = Loony

How you look @ this formular?

1. Are you gym addict whom go to gym everyday... YES or NO?
2. Do you pro American coffee place and anti Oldtown... YES or NO?
3. Do you like to travel and photography... YES or NO?

If you answer YES to the three questions above... you definitely will be labelled as a Loony. Of course this is not according to the Webster Dictionary, Oxford Dictionary or Dictionary.com... this is solely base on a single person perspective.

Anyway, please don't ask me why my fellow blogger follower called me a Loony. I'm not very upset, i was surprised, shocked and unhappy... coz this follower of mine hardly know me in person, how could he judge a person with all his own theory and labelled me as a Loony.

Hmmm... Let me guess?

1. Maybe He is jealous that i have lifestyle which mentioned above. (most likely)
2. Maybe He could not accept other different lifestyle other than his own boring life... ;p
3. Maybe He did not understand what does Loony means and didn't wanna to Google or look up @ the dictionary... (i really have no idea why)
4. Maybe He just wanna to use this opportunities to increase his blog traffic with making fun and calling others name. (is this most likely or definitely)
5. Maybe Maybe Maybe ... errrrr So many maybe... I'm just tired to guess now. Maybe we should invite him to clarify why he called me Loony eh~ (Let's just stop guessing)

Yuppie, i added another outlet in my Starbucks visiting list. The outlet @ Subang Jaya Carrefour (besides Subang Parade)... this outlet was very quiet before a lady came... :(

the staff were very friendly and providing a good service...

I managed to obtain another stamp when i purchased the Xmas special drink. 9 more to go before i get the limited edition 2010 starbucks planner... how much should i sell in e-bay after i got it... maybe USD50... :p

hehehe... anyone wanna to know why my blog title is 58-1118? hahaha... this starbucks outlet is the 58th Starbucks i left my footprint and it's on November 18th 2009.

Cari Makan @ Penang : Zim Sum Tea Garden

This happened on the day before my friend and I left Penang. We checked out the hotel and discussing what we would like to have for brunch. Since i knew one popular place for dim sum @ Anson road, no far from the hotel... We decided to drop by that place. This was the first time i had dim sum in cafeteria style...

hmmmm... no dim sum tray cruising around the restaurant with some sweet lady voice... "Char Siew Pau, Siew Mai, Har kow, Lo mai kai... " So, you must be thinking it should be much more quiet eh~... You are totally wrong, the place really like a market... People walking and carrying tray to their destination table from the dispenser counter. My friend has offered to get us some food... so i was sitting @ the table alone observing the environment...

Minutes later, my friend came back with a tray of food...

After we finished the first round... it's my turn to get the 2nd round... I went and shop @ each of the dispenser counters to search for my favorite dim sum "Har Kow"... the lady on the counter told me to wait for 15 mins ... so i have no choice but to go around other counters to grab more food... like Egg Tarts ( @Twilight: this egg tarts even way way better than Paparich ), porridge and more siew mai... then went back after 15 mins to collect the "Har Kow"... I took two instead of one.

We finished all the food within 1/2 hours, paid and left the place for Kuala Lumpur... Anyway, the food is quite okie as per said but the price is KL price :(... so it's not really value for money in this environment.

BTW, I never tried other dim sum place in Penang other than Corner Club, Shangri-la and Cititel (yaya, i know what you wanna to say... TZ go to high class dim sum place... errrr, my aunty brought me there)... So, I don't think i could compare this dim sum place with the other three. if any of you have better recommendation... do share with us eh~

Your preference

This kind of plants are hidden in between some corners of the place that has not much sunlight... not many people actually noticed it... It's value is very high... So do you know where we could get this kind of plants?

The other one plant is not hidden from people... It usually growth in the garden and it calls out loud... "Look @ me, look @ me" with the nice pinkish flowers...

So given a choice, what would you prefer? Being a quiet person in the corner or the one that always noticed by the rest of the people?

What will happen in Twenty Twelve? Another 2 years plus... According to the Mayan calendar, the world will come to the end @ December 21st 2012. Wow~ what shall we do?

Hehehe... Am I ready for 2012? Errrrr.... I just don't have any plan and don't know what i shall do... i couldn't afford to pay Euro 1 million for a seat in the gigantic sail ship.

Anyway, there's this movie which just premier on Thursday night. It's a worth to watch movie called 2012.

I was amazed with the amount of graphic that this movie produced... the Tsunami, the earthquake and the landslides etc @ different corner of the earth. It's so real...

hehehe... I took a day off from my study yesterday morning to watch this movie. It was a good movie which trigger us to think of what if this actually happen, what are you going to do? This movie has sort of showing us on how the civilized human race reacted to the devastating disaster.. One thing i learnt from the movie, if you have no money or status, forget about your life when disaster strike... you are not able to board the ship like those protected animal do... how sad :'(

hmmm... for those of you who has already watched this movie, what do you think about the movie? hehehe... TZ gave a Two Thumbs Up for this movie.
