I took two days leave from work just to concentrate on my study for the exam on this Saturday. The last minutes review to cover all the possible questions (I wish). This module is one of the tough module according to my lecturer, i'm a little bit worry, but still I will try my best!

Gotta to hit the book... ciao!

Shopping for Fitness Center...

I have been with Fitness First since Nov 2005. So far the services is okay, i don't have any complain. But as a consumer, i think i should open to evaluate other fitness center and reassess my membership with Fitness First. So i decided to start my trial session on other fitness center after my CPIM exam i.e. Dec 8th 2007.

Last Friday, i paid a visit to California Fitness @ Mid-valley after talking with my colleague Yoong Kee. I managed to meet up with CF sales person, Graham. He has provided me a quick tour on CF @ Mid-valley. It is a huge fitness center with lots of lockers @ the men's room, different workout machine and cardio machine. They even has a swimming pool.

I have requested the sales person Graham to put on hold my 1 week trial out. Reason being i'm busy studying my CPIM exam this week and will not have time to pay a visit to CF. Will let you know how i feel eh!

What a small world...

As usual I left the office at about 16:30 to hit Fitness First Axis for my pilate class. I have invited Kim, my colleague to attend the Pilate class with me yesterday. Ginny is the pilate instructor and i like to attend her class because she is patient to assist us as the learner to do the right pose. This is important for pilate classes as we need to pose right to avoid injury.

Kim and I hit the gym at about 5:15pm, change and gather @ the juice bar. We were the earliest in the studio. So decided to do some stretching while waiting for Ginny to arrive. A big surprise to Kim when Ginny walked in... guess what? Kim and Ginny were secondary school friends and they did not meet each other for a long time. BTW, Ginny is my university school mate and we were in the same final project back in Canada. Oh! What a small world eh!... So, Kim and Ginny were so excited and they started some conversation before the class.

Ginny has to catch up with another class after her class @ Axis, she left in hurry and Kim decided to stay on for the Yoga. As Yoga is not my cup of tea so i decided to do some weight training instead. We left the gym at about 8pm.

Decision is FINAL...

November 30th 2007 marked a new chapter for me in the near future. It was a decision making day for me on my career for this company :-> I voted to accept the separation package and leave the company. In another word, i voted to put a stop of my career with my current company. It's bitter-sweet as mentioned by my most admired manager in US. It's sad to leave the company but it's a good start for my next career.

Went for breakfast with a bunch of my colleagues when i arrived the office. After my breakfast, I went back to my cubicle and start my day. The HR personnel called me up and let me know there were some changes on the relocation package on the taxation. Unfortunately it's still not as good as the Separation package. So my decision has finalized with taking the package and leave the company. After i finalized my decision, my last day of work will be March 31st 2008. It's a very difficult moment to make such a decision as i have been part of group for nearly 7 years and the pioneer to startup and growth with the office. Anyway, life gotta move on. I would need to plan what i'm going to do after March 31st 2008.

I still have couple of months to plan and kick starts my plan. First step, I would need to update my resume, anyone have a good template for resume? I don't really like the template provided by Jobstreet.com. Then, gotta look around for jobs at the same time plan out my one month vacation. My initial plan is to backpacking Europe but it's too expensive for Europe tour now. Still doing my research and come out the budget whether i would be able to tour Europe for a month. Anyway has the same plan as me to tour Europe next year? :-p

Am I regret to choose not to relocate? At this moment, i don't think so as i think i need a change, a better opportunity for me to explore the world. I might be leaving Malaysia and start my new career outside the country. Singapore... Canada... or some place else... :-> Let's see which country would be able to offer me a decent job. I'm looking forward for a change and better opportunity.
