A TARCIAN dinner

To all my fellow TARCIAN readers... this entry is dedicated to you in regardless whether you have attended the dinner on last Saturday or just have give way to another wedding dinner... Anyway, enjoy the pictures that i have taken and do comment after reading eh~... :p

If you noticed i have posted another entry regarding the invitation card (do read my previous post) By now, you should be able to guess what time my mom and I arrived @ TARC. Yup! It's 5pm sharp... (hey we are not Kiasu, just that we thought it's only a short 2 hours mingling session... To my surprise it's a 8 course Chinese meal dinner. (Errrr... This was not my first time to attend this kind of dinner but it definitely was the first time to get an invitation stated 5:00pm for 7:00pm)...

Another hiccup was time management... the function should have started @ 7pm sharp... but the organizing committee has decided to wait for more late comer TARCIANS even the guest of honour has arrived about 6pm... so at the end, the function started @ 7:45pm... :(

Let's roll back to capture one very important statement earlier... I was sitting with a TARCIAN (Alumni) from Business faulty... he was so confident telling me that TARCIAN would defintely come 7pm sharp coz @ 6:30pm... the hall was not even 75%... I just gave him a smile and said "Let's See..."

The function started with the hip hop dance from the TARC student ... followed by the organizing chairman speech...

Principle of TARC speech was quite interesting... he full utilized his time to report out the progress of TARC

Oh! I like this program... it's a orchestra which formed with the mix of Chinese and Western music instruments

Food was not very good but what do you expect, it was a charity event.
So have to bear with it.

This uncle was so talented with harmonica... big, small and all types of harmonicas
He even used his nose to blow... i meant the music instruments :p

Anyway, he is very talented as per said.

I didn't manage to stay throught the cake cutting celebration... the cake above was distributed to each of the tables in the hall... We left early as i have a trial exam the next day... That's it folks for all the report out on the 40th Anniversary of TARCIAN/Alumni dinner... Hope you enjoy eh~

Oh! one more thing... since Twilight Grandma was asking whether they served Shrimp and Oyster like YUEN... errrr... Grandma, the answer is in the picture... No Oyster only Shrimp... :(


Despite the two hiccups on the important items in organizing the events...Improvement needed... the overall dinner was good I meant the environment not the food and the entertaining talented TARCIAN who made the dinner so lively and enjoyable... I was so amazed with those talented TARCIAN since 1970s until today... :p

5:00pm for 7:00pm

I just got back from Celebrating 40th years of TAR College Academic Excellence Alumni Dinner 2009. My mom has bought these two tickets ended up i accompanied my mom to this dinner. It was a quite okay dinner with lots of performance by talented Tarcian. Stay tune eh~ I will post all the picture i took later... ;p

Meanwhile, just wondered do any of you see something different on this ticket / invitation?

How do you interpret the 5:00pm for 7:00pm?

Call Santa for my wishes ...

Last year, I sent Santa an email with my Xmas wishes... ended up i didn't get anything from Santa... Maybe because someone has copied what i did with encoded... Santa must have been decoded wrongly and confused with what i wanted and maybe mistakenly gave it to him... :(

So, this year i decided to call up Santa personally... how to call Santa? I think i better kept it to myself... otherwise, someone might be copied what i did last Xmas... :'( Sorry folks~ I just have to be selfish this year. If you really wanna to know how... Just google it...

I still remember when i was in Canada one decades plus ago, the telephone service provider Manitoba Telephone System (MTS) which is equivalent to our suckie Telekom Malaysia (TM) (Both provide telephone services... but MTS services are way way way way way x 1000000 better than suckie TM ) did provide a Xmas hotline i.e. call Santa for children to talk to Santa before Xmas about their wish lists... Guess what? the call to Santa is free... So i did call on my first white Xmas in Canada, there was an old man pick up the call asking my name and couple questions like am i being a good boy throughout the year etc... what wish i have... etc. It was fun and of cause i wish but my wish didn't come true :( ... hehehe... maybe i was not be a good boy that year. You know it's university/college students... what do you expect eh~ ... Blek~

Anyway, this year i called Santa few days back... hopefully my wishes will come true for the first time...

Santa: Ho Ho Ho... Hello boy, How are you?

Me: I'm good ... How about you, Santa?

Santa: Ho Ho Ho ... good good ... so boy What is your name?

Me: TZ.

Santa: Are you a good boy throughout 2009?

Me: Yes! I have been studied on my certification course... i'm a certified SAP consultant now. I have another one more certification to go before year end...

Santa: Ho Ho Ho... you have been studying eh~... how about helping others? Have you help others?

Me: Got got, i helped others by making their days... Cheering my fellow readers and bloggers with updating my blog regularly.

Santa: hmmm.... so boy you have done quite a lot... so what is your wish list this year?

Me: oh... Santa, all i want are these 3 wishes.

1. I wish for a suitable job with a nice boss as soon as possible.
2. I wish I pass my CSCP certification exam.
3. I wish all my fellow readers and bloggers have their wishes come true too EXCEPT those bloggers that copy my ideas.

Santa: why there is an exceptional case in your wish?

Me: errrrr.... it'll be a long long story to talk about but how about we meet up in Starbie Seattle with a nice cup of Starbie Xmas drink?

Santa: hmmm... I'm too busy for coffee this months... how about i just place a notes @ my organizer for next year after this Xmas.. Let's say Jan 30th 2010.. okay?

Me: Okie Santa... BTW, Santa, can you also sponsor my trip to Seattle? I'm broke now...

Santa: Okie, one trip to Seattle for TZ meeting Santa @ Starbie

Me: Thanks Santa, have a nice Xmas eh~

Santa: You too boy... All the best to your exam and your future job eh~

Me: Thanks Santa... catch up with you in Santa.

Rainy Thursday...

Anyone has some newer song about rain?... I think someone must have repeatedly sing the rain song in Redbox or Neway yesterday night... until all the rain song became a call for rain this morning. But, good for me as it was a nice cooling morning for sleep, sleep and sleep... I knew some of you who need to rush for work would have cursed along the way as you were caught in the jam for hours... As for TZ, he was taking photo high up in his balcony and enjoying the rainy scenery of Kuala Lumpur in the morning... *hiak hiak*

Since the rain has stopped and the traffic has cleared... Later it's time for TZ to the gym and back to study after gym... Oh, btw, i forgot to mention... I'm a full time student now.. Studying for my exam next week.

Mutated Virus in blog communities

Recently there is a mutated virus from H1N1 spread within the blog communities... what virus is that? hehehe... it's H10N10.

As of Dec 2nd 2009, i observed that the H10N10 virus has slowly disappeared... everything was back to normal. will another wave is coming to hit us soon? or H10N10 just totally disappear from the blog communities which we could celebrate?... Anyhow, preventive is always better than cure said all the doctors out there... Ooops, is there a cure for H10N10?... maybe we should ask the very first person that spread the H10N10, he might be able to help the communities.

So what is H10N10 exactly?

The H10N10 was discovered among Malaysia bloggers. This virus has been seen lots of the blogs... i have no idea how many percent of the bloggers have infected by this virus. No idea of who is the very first person that bringing this virus to the communities... Maybe some of you can help to answer this questions :)

The symptoms of H10N10 is that infected person click into the blog entry and leave multiple comment back to back... the number of comment usually is 3 and above... Besides, the H10N10 infected person will also get so excited whenever they were the 1st to comment and just leave "1st" in comment as the 1st commenter in the list followed by his or her list of comments back to back.

Now you know what is H10N10...

This conversation was happened @ a blogger gathering dinner.

After a quick plan, the blogger team has set to go for an outing suggested and invited by Michi. Before we left YUEN, date/time/Venue and staff that we need to bring has been set. We were ready to go...

Ok where were we last Sunday? Errrr.... we went to Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) located @ the north of Polluted Metropolitan city of Kuala Lumpur. Luckily the place was NOT that polluted :p Otherwise, we would have boycott that place... kekeke :p

Anton so tempted to jump into the cool water

We walked up hill... hiked and climbed up to the Canopy Walk then take a group picture and hiked back down again. Then we walked towards the waterfall, took a few shots of the upstream... and walked down hill along the river to spot a nice place picnic for our lunch. Total walk/hike/climb... i really have lost count of how many steps of walking, hiking, climbing :p and please don't ask me how many kilometers too... It was a damn tiring hiking with a heavy load of drinks and a DSLR camera :p I just wondered how others felt after the outing...

Along the trail, i have taken quick a number of plants and inserts... :)

We were relaxing and had our food by the waterfall until noon... After the picnic and had enough rest, we decided to leave the place and headed back for a nice and cool shower despite the fall water is cooler than the showers...
