Halloween night 4 @ Universal Studio is back!!!...

Have you been to the Halloween night @ Universal Studio?... If you haven't been, i would recommend you to do it at least once.

I went for the Halloween night 3 @ Universal Studio last year... I think i didn't blog about my encounter. But it's a very impressive horror night @ Universal Studio. Anyway, it was very scary and the environment setup as if it is real. The sound, the smell, the lighting and the decoration. Not to mention, the people that put on make up, walked around you and all of the sudden, they were besides you... Muhahaha~SCARE?!!!

Unfortunately, this year i don't have any available weekend in October to go down to Singapore. All my weekends are filled with something that i need to accomplish. My routine, my mama routine, my MBA classes, my MBA exams, my weekend getaway but not Singapore, blah blah blah... So no time for Halloween Night #4 @ Universal Studio in 2014 but i'm going to plan for 2015. See you next year eh~

Anyway, let's watch the complete walk through about this year Halloween Night #4...

Excited to go?
Scare to go?

The Journey 一路有你

The Journey 一路有你 - A local production... yes~ Made in Malaysia. This local production has brought thousands and thousands of Malaysian rush to the cinema and watch it. Guess what? I have watched this movie twice... First with my colleagues and last Wednesday i watch it with Ant.

To my surprise, the 2030 session in Hall 2 of GSC paradigm mall was full house. Paradigm GSC was a nice cinema and well known for its less crowded place for movie. But The Journey has broken the record of the less patrons cinema.

I don't want to be a movie spoiler... So go ahead to watch this nice local production...

Two countries in 9 Days - Day 1 : Touch down @ Ho Chi Minh City

Jan 29th 2014 - Left city of pothole and heading to HCMC, Vietnam. The journey took me 1 hours 10 mins. Rushing through the days, pick up a taxi and headed to KLIA. Broad the Malaysia Airline, the true Malaysian Hospitality... Anyway, that would be another story eh~

Touched down at 6pm, cleared the custom and met my bro-in-law after 30 mins. Still faster than KLIA in term of baggage handling.

Left the baggage at my sister place and headed to dinner nearby. Dinner @ Papa's Vietnam, an Italian Restaurant.

Italian Food - Papa's Vietnam
Authentic Italian food from the Italian chef... Yummy~
After the meal, we proceed with to the New Year's decoration near Crescent Mall District 7. The florist decoration was so nice...

Lunar New Year flower and light decoration

So many different species of flower including the paddy fields... So it's an eye opener for me to see how pretty is the man made garden on the road. (they closed the road and put up the garden). more;

Back to my sister place after the visit... Day 1 end. ~

Neighbor Renovation

I'm staying in the condominium... the most annoying moment is that the neighbor doing their renovation. The jacking of the wall, the drilling sound etc.

These few days i would like to work from home to finish my project plan but unfortunately the sound has made me headache since yesterday. When are they going to stop? :(  Maybe i should go to office instead of working from home...

Luckily there is a house rules governed NO WORK CAN BE DONE on SAT and SUN... I'm so glad they have this house rules :)

JungFrauJoch - The highest point of Europe

What TZ did on this year April fool? hahaha... TZ visited the highest point of Europe called JungFrauJoch - Top of Europe. The highest point that you may visit is located at 11,782ft / 3,571m above the sea level.

How to get there?
You have to take a two hours train from Interlaken to Kleine Scheidegg and switched to another train to go up to the JungFrauJoch - Top of Europe station. The journey took 2 hours from Interlaken including the transit to the top. The train fare cost CHF179 return which equivalent to RM716.

Train to JungFrauJoch - Top of Europe @ Kleine Scheidegg
@ the Top of Europe, you will experience the feeling of gasping for breath as the air is thinner.
Anyway, how's the view at the top?

First view via window when we first arrived @ the top

the 100 years old building, underneath is the railway that brought us up

the view of Top of Europe in video clip

As we walked along to the other side of the building we were directed to the Icy Glacier area of the mountain. This is an interesting area as the floor, ceiling, wall were made of ice. i.e. we are inside the glacier.

Met the Pooh family
Trying to squeeze myself through a small and narrow tunnel
We stayed there for half a day and decided to leave the place to head back to Interlaken to do some shopping and later catch our train back to Zurich for our connecting train to Brussel, Belgium. There will be another adventure in Brussel, Belgium eh~

JungFrau
JungFrauJoch - Top of Europe is a worth to visit as we have experienced quick a number of things which we would not be able to find them in Malaysia
  1. The high altitude gasping for breath cause it's 11,782ft above sea level about 2.5 times higher than Mt. Kinabalu.
  2. Walking and half sliding on the icy floor inside the Glacier. Squeeze through the small tunnel inside the Glacier
  3. Sit in the train that climb up the mountain with spectacular view of the rocky Alps mountain range
  4. Amazing long tunnel inside the mountain range which is built 100 years ago
  5. JungFrauJoch got its Unesco World Heritage status on 2001

Mekong Delta : Rice Paper Making

August 2011, I took a 10 days trip to Vietnam largest city i.e. Ho Chih Ming City (HCMC). The whole trip was a free and easy... with half day walking tour of HCMC daily and spent the rest of the day sitting in the cafe and enjoy the coffee and its environment...

Anyway, I managed to sign myself up with a full day trip to the Mekong Delta, the important delta in Vietnam that produces most of its agricultural product.

BTW, do you like the vietnamese spring rolls? This is how they make the rice paper for spring rolls...

I was glad to see how they made the rice paper, before the trip i don't even have any idea what ingredient made up the rice paper, I only tasted the Vietnamese Spring Rolls which is one of my favorite. Now we know eh~

Prometheus @ TGV Club Sunway Pyramid

Last Saturday night or should i say last Sunday... why? Cause the movie starts @ 12:30am.

Last Sunday early morning, I was watching the Prometheus with my friends @ TGV Club Sunway Pyramid. The movie ticket is RM25 per pax. Yup! it's expensive so i always have a thought that it's overrated and not value for money.

Anyway, the different between the TGV Club and the normal TGV cinema is
  1. No need to line up for tickets.
  2. No need to standing around the entrance waiting for the number to be light up.
  3. No need to line up for food and drinks. Just order and the food/drink will be served.
  4. More room for leg and the seat is more comfortable.
  5. The price of cause is more expensive, it's double the normal TGV cinema.
  6. No kiddos shouting "mama this, papa that"... I wondered how much is the ticket for kiddo.
When we arrived, the cinema was not ready... We were waiting at the designated lounge. It's so quiet. No wonder my friend told me after i tried it first time, i will like the TGV Club... It's true i love it already...

TGV Club lounge
Okay enough of TGV Club... back to the Prometheus... I don't really enjoy the movie as i don't really like those movie with disgusting and darker scenes like the previous movie Aliens#1,2,3... so on. So the Prometheus is about the same scene as Aliens. I don't want to be a spoiler, i know a lot of you might not have watched this movie...

I got mixed comments on this movie from friends before and after i watched, so not sure whether it's recommended or not. Anyhow, this is just not my cup of tea... the only thing i enjoyed is the graphic... not to mention the nice TGV Club environment :p

City with Motorbikes > cars

Do you know in which city you can get to have motorbikes more than cars on the street? If you happen to pay a visit of this city which is called Ho Chi Minh City (a.k.a Saigon). What if when you wake up early morning and realize that you don't see any motorbike on the street of HCMC. Then you are still dreaming :p

Why?

Let me show you some pictures that i took during my trip in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

a
Saturday morning @ HCMC
Saturday morning @ HCMC - @ a junction
On your mark, get set, go~

My very first road crossing @ HCMC
New action for me to learn
Vietnam Independent day Travel @National Highway
From HCMC to MEKONG DELTA
Are you able to calculate how many motorbikes?
Now i bet you understand why i say if you are in HCMC and you don't see any motorbike on the street... you must be having a sweet dream. A dream that most probably will not happen.

Anyway, you might not be able to imagine how messy is the traffic in HCMC. You have to go to HCMC to experience how messy is their traffic. Anyway, since i have bought myself a new Nikon D7000. I managed to take a clip and share with all of you.

What do you think? Can you manage to get out from the mess if you are the driver?

Roti Sai Mai - Ayutthaya specialty

When I travelled to Ayutthaya, our tour guide has asked the driver to pull over and got us the Ayutthaya's specialty dessert called Roti Sai Mai...

What is Roti Sai Mai? It's Thai-style candy floss or cotton candy which is wrapped in a sweet roti. This treat is a favorite of the Thais. I have recorded on how we ate Roti Sai Mai...

Next time if you have a chance to visit Ayutthaya, don't forget to get some Roti Sai Mai eh~
