GST --> 6%
Did anyone of you notice our lovely government sucks another 1% from our wallet? All the Government Service Tax has increase from 5% to 6%...
I first noticed when i paid for the dinner @ Nam Heong Chicken Rice on Jan 1st 2011. When i saw the receipt i was not very happy cause I got sucked additional 1% from the total amount spend... As for our salary, the increment getting lesser and lesser due to all the surrounding items increased.
Anyway, need to adjust the spending again... Hopefully the petrol price not going to jerk up again. Otherwise, need to tighten the spending. No more Starbie :(
What do you think about the 1% GST increased?

It was already planned long time ago. Petrol will increase, just waiting for the horrid announcement.
Well, I already cut down most of my spendings since early 2010 :O Another crunch like this will just make me think of staying home instead of going out splurging..lol
I don't know what GST is but here in Belgium we don't even have a government. They are know more that 200 days discussing on the program.

Oh no 1% sucked by gomen again. Even the cham (coffee + tea) increased 10 sen to RM1.30 and chap fun 3 veg at RM4.50 where usual last 2010 is RM3.80. This is not actually Happy New Year man new price new this new that prefer old year haha..

i know they are increasing, but only today that i hit the 6% tax in the food court during lunch.. hmmm, paying 5 sen more leh~~ :p

Bananaz: Life in Year 2011 already started with all the increase in food, service Tax... and Sales tax is coming to town too.

Twilight: I already woke up since the day one i was granted the rights ... So now i hope others will wake up and do the right things :) Don't get buy off by those tiny benefit / money.
[SK]: 5 cent is not much but 5 cents from each of the person is an amount that the lovely government able to do more good things .. unfortunately they don't -- Sigh~
they need the extra 1% to finance the next general election, mega-projects, etc.
