Sunday, Monday, Tuesday @ Penang...

I was having fun @ Chilis G-Hotel for the past 3 days. Since last Sunday, i visited Chilis everyday for three conservative days... Visited my friend in Chilis Penang.

Sunday
My Counsin, her boyfriend, Monika (my colleague) and I have visited Chilis after our lunch with my aunts. We sat there for the whole afternoon and chatting with Mahen (the bartender) while sipping our drinks that he made for us.

Monday
I went down to the gym and workout for an hour plus... Called up Monika for dinner but she was having stomach upset since morning. She decided to skip dinner. After shower, i dropped by Chilis and met Mahen. Ordered Oldtimer burger and as usual sipping the nice drink made by Mahen.

Tuesday
Monika and I decided to leave the office early at about 4:30pm to avoid the jam. (we caught in the jam on Monday evening before the Penang Bridge interchange) So, to avoid the peak hour we decided to go back to the hotel and continued our discussion after the dinner.

We met up @ the lobby @ 7pm and headed to FoodLoft for dinner. CC and Kwan (my two other colleagues) walked over from Evergreen were joining us for dinner. Foodloft is located @ Plaza Gurney and this restaurant serves Fusion food. It was a nice restaurant with the contemporary theme. They settled us @ my usual table by the windows overlook the sea... :-)

After the dinner, we went over to Starbucks for some serious discussion. Could not blog about what our discussion (sorry!)... anyway, we discussed for about 1 hours+ and finished about 10pm. Before heading back to the hotel, I dropped by Chilis for some nice drinks. I happened to carry my D70 SLR with me and took a number of pictures for the tz-photo repository :->

G-hotel @ Penang

I managed to book the G-hotel two weeks before my departure. It was a nice hotel with the contemporary theme. I was a little disappointed with their parking system. Anyway, they had upgraded me to a deluxe room from a standard room. What is the difference? What do you think? :-p

G-Hotel Lobby

Deluxe Room @ G-hotel

Jacuzzi in the toilet (different from standard room)

In addition, the G-Hotel is so close to the Chilis... easy for me to drop by Chilis to meet my friend Mahen :->

March 8th 2008 - Malaysia Election

To all the Malaysian, it's the election time again... do exercise your rights wisely and vote for a good representative to represent you and the rest of the Malaysian in the Parliament. Don't got influence by the incentive that the person whom wanted the vote i.e. have not done anything for the past 5 years but within 2 weeks they completed all the pending jobs. I trusted you as you should be able to analyze, observe and make a wise decision whether the person is a good representative to fight for the citizen on certain needs... :-p

So, vote wisely for a brigther future.... Happy Voting eh! BTW, you may check out the poling center from this website SPR.gov.my I already checked mine and know which center that i'm going to exercise my rights on March 8th 2008 :-p For those whom decided to give up your rights... just don't complain later eh!

You've Got Mail

I'm watching this 1998 movie @ RTM 2 now. This movie has brought some memory to me as i watched this with my ex-girlfriend. Although it's a past but i still remembered clearly because i have the soundtrack with some of the songs that we liked... :->

i like the expression when Tom Hanks lied to Meg Ryan... this is unreal as how could this happened. But i could not disagree completely with the internet technology nowadays... Let's ask how many couples actually met online and got married in this world... I think a lot LoL
Anyone have some story to share on this?

Mr. Chung & family visit

This is nineth day of Chinese New Year... I belief every Chinese would like to get some extra pocket money and the hokkien called HUAT Arrrr.... :->

By the way, I asked my friends, Mr.Chung & family to visit you later today! They are Chung Ma Piu, Chung Tai Choi, Chung ToTo and Chung 4D will be there to wish you Best of Luck for the Chinese New Year 2008. Don't worry. Chung SaMan is out of town this whole year... :->

hahaha....!

For those who don't get the joke ... let me elaborate then...
"Chung" in cantonese means "strike"
"MaPiu, ToTo, 4D and TaiChoi" is different kinds of lottery
"SaMan" is the ticket given by traffic police on traffic voilation including Speeding ticket, illegal parking ticket etc.

So, have Mr.Chung & family paid you a visit so far... if not, let's wish for Mr.Chung & family visit but hopefully Chung SaMan is still out of town .... :-p

Hug & Kisses has gone, disappeared...

My buddy got a box of hugs & kisses last Monday from his secret admirer... Who? I don't know. Due to most of the hugs & kisses were melted... he decided to cool those hugs & kisses in the chiller @ our office pantry.

Yesterday, my buddy wanna to send his hugs & kisses to everyone in the office. He realized almost 1/2 of his hugs and kisses has gone. He kept mentioned about some rats in the chiller. So we still don't know who has taken his hugs & kisses... :->

Chinese New Year @ Penang

I'm a metropolitan Kuala Lumpur guy. Lots of people wondered why i celebrated Chinese New Year (CNY) @ Penang. Reason being is that my uncles, aunties and cousins were in Penang. So every year my parents decides to celebrate our CNY @ Penang.

Day 1 Penang - Kuala Kangsar - Penang
I woked up @ about 9am and changed to my Nike Pro. This CNY i wore very sporty :-p

Left Penang for Kuala Kangsar to pay my uncle and aunty a visit. Lunch @ Kuala Kangsar. My aunty has cooked her specialty dish which is yam fried with Seafood. After lunch, i did nothing but just sat @ the living room chatting with my cousins at the same time watching some TV. My initial plan was to take some picture of Kuala Kangsar but i cancelled the plan as it was so hot outside.

We had dinner @ one of the local restaurant.

After the dinner we drove back to Penang.

Day 2 - Penang
Woked up about 10am. Got ready and left for my another uncle place for lunch. My aunt has cooked her specialty too, the Fish noodles and fried seafood noodles. Yummy! Drool drool!

After the lunch, my parents went back to the other aunty place (where we stayed). I stayed back and chatting with my cousins and his friends. It was a pleasant afternoon. We had our dinner @ a restaurant near Green Lane. After the dinner, we went back to my aunty place (where we had lunch).

Day 3 - Penang
Dropped my parent to Bali Hai for breakfast. My dad has breakfast date with his secondary schoolmate @ Bali Hai for Dim Sum. After dropping them, i headed to Fitness First @ Island Plaza. I done 1/2 hr X-training cardio and attended the Bodypump class by Celia. Almost every tracks were tough for me as i carried more weight that i used to... LoL. We stopped by my aunt's place for lunch. Aunt's cooked us noodles and beef ball for lunch.

At about 3pm, my cousin and I headed over to G-Hotel Chilis to meet Mahen (my bartender friend working @ Chilis). My cousin and i sat @ Chilis for about 3 hrs. During this 3 hrs we had 2 drinks, i had Boston Tea and Brandy Alexender. These drink is very nice ... Yummy!

Headed back to my aunty place (where i stayed) and have a small gathering with some potluck food. Since i had too much nacho chips during the drinking @ Chilis. I ate very little which shocked my aunt... :-p

Day 4 Penang - Kuala Lumpur
Woked up @ about 7:30am. Took a shower and headed to the temple for some prayer. This has been the tradition in my family during the 4th day of CNY. We usually went to a temple near the Penang Hill. It was so crowded and we almost waited for an hour to get the slot for praying.

Left from the temple straight to hit the highway. The highway has congested @ Juru toll. The highway was still smooth moving with lots of car after the toll.

Arrived KL @ about 4:30pm and it was a tired trip...

Happy Year of Rats

Yummy! It's going to be a delicious year... hehehe :-p

Happy Year of the Rats & Hamsters.

Chinese New Year's Eve...

My Parents and I left Kuala Lumpur for Penang @ about 5:45am to avoid the jam... The journey to Kuala Kangsar (KK) was so smooth that we could not believe it was Chinese New Year's Eve compare to last year. Anyway, we arrived @ KK about 8:45am and the whole journey only took us about 3 hours compare to last year 6+ hours...

At about 11am, my cousin-in-law has prepared all the food for the prayer to our ancester. This has been a traditional event before i was borned... After the prayer, we had our lunch and left for Penang.

Another surprise to us was that the traffic on the bridge was so smooth which was totally different from my colleagues' prediction i.e. jam started 12pm. So, we reached my aunty place at about 3pm. Since it was early, i had a good nap before the reunion dinner.

Left for my another aunty's place about 6pm (i had 4 aunties in Penang). We have been having the reunion dinner @ this aunty place since my grand mother passed away i.e. about 10 years+. My uncle whom bought the nice crab during my earlier trip if you happened to read my blog... has bought all the nice seafood for our reunion dinner. We were eating Seafood Steamboat... yummy! Don't drool after looking at the picture below eh!

We left for prayer @ the temple about 8:45pm after the dinner... Spent about 1.5 hours in the temple to pray. Since my aunty's god daughter is going to Jarkarta on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year (CNY). My aunty has decided to pay her god daughter a visit. I got the chance to meet up this nice and pretty lady whom is working in New York and came back for CNY. :-> According to my aunty, she's still single... hehehe...

To all my Chinese readers... Happy Chinese New Year eh!
