No more free ride @ Starbie...

Hey what do you mean free ride?... do you remember those days you can choose NOT to get a drink yet cannibalized the internet connection bandwidth with you huge "i" thingy... but today, all this free ride has called to a STOP... yup a big STOP for Starbie.

If you notice, accessing the internet connection on Starbie network needs code... a code that you can find in the bottom of the receipt...

Now,

1. Do not throw away your receipt after collecting your drink... You free internet connection is in this piece of paper.
2. One code per connection, if you have more than one device, too bad you have to drink two drinks... cause one code per device. 
3. One drink one code, one person one drink... Don't expect to have one person buy a drink and four person take the ride. 
4. Stop thick skin people whom just sit down and start skype with their family members away from home. You know who i'm talking about... (unfortunately i could not understand their language to further understand the conversation) It's will be interesting if i could understand their language. 

Good move Starbie eh~
Now we could eliminate those annoying free riders~

Knocking sound... stop a while.... metal sound... Stop a while... Knocking sound again... getting stronger and stronger and stronger... I looked at the clock it's 10pm at night... Who the Hell is this inconsiderate person who is so excited to hammering on Sunday night...

My mom has slept, my direct neighbor has slept too but unfortunately was waken up by this hammering sound... I tried to contact the security but the intercom in my unit was not working... hmmm one more thing to request to fix when visiting the management office.

Anyway, let's get back to the hammering case... My neighbor was extremely angry and unhappy cause she has a daughter that need to go to school tomorrow morning and she needs to wake up early to prepare breakfast, so she needs some sleep. Same goes to my mom...

I was about to go downstair to get the guard. Guess what? the guard has settled them after my neighbor complained. Such as inconsiderate person... you have no rights to take away our sleep... GOD knows who did it and don't blame anyone if you got hammered by HIM... 

On insomnia

I was working on some documentation which i didn't realize by the time i finished the work, it was 2:30am... So i quickly shutdown the computer and got myself ready to hit the bed. When i was laying on the bed i couldn't sleep any more. :(

Then i on the computer and read some of the blogs and slowly i dozed off... hmmmm... i dozed off not because of the blog content was so boring, it's because i was so tired.

Anyway, now i'm awake again... sigh~

Everyone... I'm back I'm back... let's celebrate!!!!... 

How i passed my night without internet. Hmmm... watching the NTV7 chinese drama My Kampung Days 家在半山芭 until 11pm. Later, listened to my iPod and lying on the bed trying to get myself to sleep. Unfortunately i couldn't sleep and decided to walk out to the balcony to look @ the nice view of KL.

The weather was so hot... no wind at all. While listening to my iPod, I did some reading and also texting... until about 12am when the Twin Tower started to turn off their lights... 

Hehehe... I definitely know whether it's after or before 12am. Just look out from my living room and look @ the landmark of KL... :p Next time i should record the moment the twin tower shut off their lights and share with all of you. 

Thursday...

Oh no it's Thursday already... another day, the weekend is coming. Another week it'll be Malaysian national day and September is coming!

September, October, November then December ... and Saying bye bye to 2009... I need a change, a change is needed for TZ before the year end~

Sleepless in Kampala...

It's 4am now... I'm still awake, I couldn't sleep coz the mosquitoes are accompany since 1am. The aircon has shut off since then due to the irregularity of the power supply again. SIGH! This time the voltage is too high. The AVS has sent a signal to shutdown the Aircon *Sob Sob*... Give me back my Aircon and sleep.

You must be wondered why i don't use the my Mosi-Guard... but man! the Mosi-Guard is useless in Uganda... Mosquitoes in Uganda don't even scare of my Mosi. Mosi you could retire in Uganda... :-p I think i need to ask the maintenance guy to fix the mosquitoes net for me next Monday. It's important...

Anyway, I was so tired but I couldn't sleep... what a torture Saturday morning :-( This reminds me of a question from Silencer on why am i in Uganda? Good question? Why i choose to suffer with sleepless night in Uganda? Yet, giving up all my family members, friends and my cool lifestyle back home... Anyway, this is part of the package of new experience :-p
