I was busy traveling again after my Myanmar trip. Went to Malacca for the weekend after Myanmar trip. So I didn't have time to upload some nice picture from Myanmar trip. Besides, my work started to pick up again and i was tied down by meetings at night...

Anyway, I would like to share with you some Myanmar Influence...

Hehehe... yes~ i'm in their traditional clothing. Not sure you still remember i posted a post regarding how Myanmar people wearing previously. here

The traditional clothing is very nice to wear but initially i have the fear of the Sarong (clothing) will drop. But after a few times of adjustment and re-do, I noticed it's not as difficult to wear. If i happen to go back to Myanmar, i don't mind to wear again :)

I have an important appointment with the Three Vengeful Sisters @ Universal Studio Singapore on Oct 12th 2013. So who are the three Vengeful Sisters?


I yet to know how to react when i see them... Anyway, i'm looking forward to meet them this Saturday.

RON95 increase 20cents in Malaysia

Our lovely Prime Minister has announced an increase of 20 cents/liter for Diesel and RON95 effective September 3rd 2013 00:00.

A lot of people just thinks that it's affordable as it's only increase 20 cents/ liter. Base on the past history whenever the petrol price jerk up... the repercussion is the rest of the goods and services will increase too. So if you think it's just a 20 cents up only? You are super wrong... wait and see more to come.

Look at how the 20 cents impact to THE RAKYAT immediately...

Most of the people trying to queue to fill up the petrol... but unfortunately there were small amount of people just filling up RM10. So how much can they save? Moreover, they have jammed up the whole place. Dear lovely PM, can you see how suffer some of the people whom felt the pinch even though it's only 20cents increase...

For my case, my tank was already below 1/2 tank and i have pumped RM40 to make it full. It cost around RM90 to get the whole tank filled if the tank is empty. So, estimated saving was around RM4. Not even a Char Keow Tiao in Kuala Lumpur. Sad case eh~

The Heineken Experience

Beer tap connecting the brewer

Not sure you still remember i posted two posts regarding What is this for? and What about this?... These are the parts and pieces of the brewing tools which you can find them in the brewery.

Some readers have guessed the knots/tap are for getting beer. They are absolutely correct about the tap but to be specific, it's getting the beer for testing from the brewer. Each of the beer tap is connected to the different brewer. 

This is the brewer that all the beer ingredient are mixed and cooked in certain temperature before letting the yeast its work... which is the fragmentation process.

The Heineken Experience is located inside the old Heineken Brewery building. This Heineken Experience can be consider as the Museum of Heineken. They have placed lots of artifacts and the stories about how the Heineken beer empire was built. The first part of the museum was telling the stories... blah blah blah




So now let's the experience continue and we gotta see the real things instead of listening to the stories...

Before we went into the brewing site... we were brief  by a person on what is the main ingredient of a Heineken Beer... Anybody wanna guess?

As we walked into the big hall, we saw big brewer lining up in the hall.. All the ingredient were placed into the brewers ... which you can see the brewery house.

The journey continued with how to appreciate the freshly brewed Heineken Beer... There is a stars shape bar which the bartenders will provide us a small glass of Heineken Beer for appreciating and tasting. I learn quite a bit from the session. The knowledge of why beer need to have a white foam covered it... etc

Next,  the advertisement watching... they projected all different advertisement from around the world in different languages. I never saw most of the advertisement... It's awesome!!! So creative~ Besides the advertisement, Heineken as the company has created some games, merchandise as its brand... including bottle your own beer.

Last but not least... It's Booze Booze time. Each person gets two 1/2 pints of freshly brewed Heineken Beer in exchange with the buttons from the given bracelet when we bought the ticket.  YES! the ticket included the free drink of Beer. But it's a bit of disappointment here as i thought it would be ALL YOU CAN DRINK *wink*

We stayed in the drinking bar until we finished the two 1/2 pints. The surrounding and environment is cool as the music makes the bar likes a nice hangout pub in town. 

So if you happen to be in Amsterdam, do not missed the Heineken Experience eh~

Jonker Street Night Market

Week before I visited Malacca
First is Sultan Street in Kuala Lumpur... Now Jonker Street in Malacca. What next? Terengganu ChinaTown? or Johor Bahru oldest temple? Could you please respect the culture and heritage... This group of people whom made the decision can be categories as no culture, barbarian and uncivilized... Don't you know how to appreciate and respect the diversity.  

What is our lovely government thinking? Jonker walking street on Friday, Saturday are one of the main attraction for tourist from around the world to visit this walking street. It has brought a big profit to the state as it's one of the biggest walking street in Malaysia. Why killed it?

Lovely Malacca government gave a lame excuse of by shutting down the walking street it will help to ease the traffic... hey how much traffic can you ease the street is so narrow and can only let one car cross at one time. Moreover the government used how many millions to build the big highway and bridge to connect the  old town with the other side. So i suspect must be having some hidden agenda...

Anyway, it's sad to see this attractive street die down at night and what to do in Malacca at night for a weekend escape without the walking street... Sigh~

Last weekend @ Jonker Street - Business as usual

But there is no official statement saying the street will NOT re-open for traffic on Friday, Saturday. So what would be the fate of the Jonker Street Night Market. Yet to know...

TZ @ ambiguous period...

Reorganization, Restructuring, Re-mapping resources... are very common terminology in Multinational Companies. The more the workforce turns into global, the more political issues arose.  Due to the saving storm, most of the companies will keep restructuring and reorganizing until they reach the target or stay within the cost.

Guess what? I'm going to report to a different manager again after the restructuring of my team. Hurray~ This will be my 4th boss within 2.5 years with the company. Is it good or bad to me? Hmm... I think good is we get to have fresh start whenever there is a change but... Bad is obviously we need to re-adjust ourselves to new expectation from different boss. Style change again eh~. Sigh!

Anyway, whenever there is a restructuring/reorganizing... there will be an ambiguous period within the team. Lots of rumors are wondering around too. This colleague is going to resign, that colleague is looking for a better position outside the team (i.e. internal transfer). blah blah blah... So how true is that?

TZ is in the ambiguous period as he forced to leave the good manager whom he is reporting and could easily work well with . Now he has to start all over again to work out the expectation with the new boss... Good or bad?

when to say; where to start; what to expect; how to action; why?

LoL... this no longer on figuring where to visit shown in the picture above. It is the period on getting the 4W and 1H answered and plan out the right career path... :p

Dragon fly away, Snake sneak out...

Today is the last day of Dragon year... as my animal zodiac, this year was NOT a very good year. Just a normal year which i still have my job, enough money to survive, i bought couples of TOTO but only strike RM4 in Malacca once. Still have people who loves me. Hmmmm.... other than that it's a very quiet and non excited year.

Since the Dragon going to fly away and the snake is sneaking out... I hope the coming year will be better for me. I went to TIMES two three weekend back to read the projection of the Zodiac Animal for Year of Snake from Lillian Too. Anyone a fans of her?

Then i went into the internet to read some of the other prediction... All of them have the common said.
1. It's good time for me to switch job. So what job should i take?
2. I have luck on wealth for this year. Hmmm... so i should buy more TOTO, 4D and 6D too.
3. I'll enjoy traveling around for this year... not sure what it's mean but i'm looking forward for my vacation

Errrr... what else? ...

Anyway, do you believe on these kind of prediction?

Early 30s

After i have a new hairstyle and new image... guess what? People just said i'm early 30s... Do i really look early 30s?

Hey, I just celebrated my 3x birthday last week. And these few days i kept hearing people said i'm early 30s. I was super happy as I look way younger than my age. True or Not i asked them... Even my boss whom is not sitting besides me in the office said i looks early 30s.

What do you think?

ONE Fighting Championship @ Malaysia

 As everyone know my birthday has just passed 5 days ago. In order to celebrate my full birthday, my colleague has bought a VIP ticket in ONE Fighting Championship @ Putra Indoor Stadium Bukit Jalil.

It's my first time to attend this kind of event. It was a bit of excitement for me... anyway, it was a good experience.

Each of us gotten 2 free drinks token which could exchange SF Coffee, Juices and Water. BTW, there was a counter selling TIGER BEER for RM9.50 per can.

After reaching the VIP area, i was excited to see the ring/stage... It was amazingly beautiful with all the lightings...

It was a very good experience and the fights were interesting too... Thanks Rick for giving me the ticket as my birthday present... :)

Reflecting... Repackage... Relaunch...

I was chatting in FB with a friend of mine whom i haven't been meeting him quite sometime due to my busy traveling schedule.

Friend : ooo Birthday Boy!!
Me : Not yet...
Friend : How old will u be ar?
Me : 3x
Friend : wait a minute. U r almost the same age as me?

blah blah blah... 

Friend : becoming age conscious are you?
Me : Nope
Friend : Age gracefully. Be thankful u live so long.

Then he started to tell me one incident which his friend die in a sudden cause heart attack. "So don't be negative be happy"

Think about it, i just have a few more hours to finish what i suppose to finish with my age now. I will carry a new age number few hours from now. Guess what? I will have a new launch of myself in a new packaging... A new me to move forward to achieve more and to be loved more.

People might see me whom have a successful career, a stable income, a going to "hot body", a good and enjoyable life. But deep inside me i feel like i have nothing. Maybe i have set myself too high expectation/goal.

First and foremost, i have to let go some of the burdens which hinder me to move forward, something which is deep inside me for so long... a less confident of me since i left a great company on 2008. I have went through up and down, experienced standing on the top of my life as well as down to the valley... but i still searching back the ME which would be able to self motivate and of cause pulled myself back up again. Today i don't see that ME again for past few years. It has to be put to STOP.


Let me use this few remaining hours to figure out how i should go...

Les Miserable @ New Year Day

Hello my fellow readers,

HAPPY NEW YEAR, May you have a brighter and happier year 2013

Anyway, My friends have asked me out for a movie @ Sunway Pyramid on the First day of the Year. They waited for me to come back from Vietnam to watch this movie together. :)

According to multiple reviews and spoilers... this movie has its own unique way of presentation. Some people said this movie is boring, some say this movie is very good... So it's a mix review. I think this movie is interesting if you really enjoy and appreciate the broadway musical. I personally found it interesting, touchy and not boring.

If you are feeling down and watching this movie, I bet you will be touch even deep especially the scene when Anne Hathaway sings I dreamed a dream. My tear nearly dropped cause i listen word by word clearly... Anyone has the same feeling?

Another great song is Do You Hear The People Sing? which sing by a group of revolutionists, I can feel their enthusiastic and encouragement to fight for a change which brought them towards the hope of freedom... My fellow people of Malaysia... are we gonna sing the same song?

The finale was the most touching part of the whole movie... My tear dropped when came to this scene. Overall, the whole movie is so good... Worth to watch :)

Freeballing

Last Saturday, i went for my PT session and realized i forgot to bring an extra fresh underwear... Oops! Of cause, I was not gonna to wear the sweaty underwear after the gym. What choice did i have? Hmmm.... I don't have any choice...

So I decided to go freeballing... It was my first freeballing in the public. I felt so insecure and naked too. Moreover, the down under feel so cooling when I walked over from 1MK to Plaza Mont Kiara to get my lunch before heading back home. I was so conscious while crossing the road,  walking towards Subway to buy my lunch. Don't know how the surrounding people look at me... I don't know how to describe but it was not a good feeling indeed.

Anyway, anyone have done this before and mind to share?

Two Pandas loan from China

The Stars newspaper published on June 11th 2012 7:11pm - "China to loan two pandas to Malaysia for 10 years". According to the news, it will bring good to Malaysia for 

• The Stars : To get better relationship between Malaysia and China in order to bring more China investor to Malaysia and boast our lovely country economic
• TZ : How much our lovely country needs to invest to host the pandas and what is the Return on Investment (ROI). Is this worth to invest?
• The Starts : To enable Malaysia to conduct conservation research on the giant panda
• TZ:  I don't see any benefit in Malaysia as we don't have pandas. If the lovely government stated to conduct conservation research on Malaya Sun Bear. Then i still see some benefit to the scientists and the nations. BTW, if they wanna study Panda, why can't the country send the selected scientists over to China, i bet the expenses will be way lower than hosting the two pandas.
• The Stars : Promote public awareness on Panda conservation undertaken by China.
• TZ : I don't see any benefit to Malaysia and its people. 
• The Stars : Encourage the public to appreciate and learn the importance of biodiversity and wildlife conservation of Malaysia.
• TZ : There are many more Wildlife in Malaysia needed funding to setup conservation.. Why not promoting helping these wildlife e.g. Malaya Sun Bear... how many of you know that the Malaya Sun bear actually originated from Malaysia/Borneo. I believe the Sun Bear conservation would also be able to encourage the public to appreciate and learn the importance of wildlife conservation of Malaysia. But very sad these wildlife conservation do not get as much funding as our lovely government plans to spend on the two pandas.

In this case, I'm really disappointed how our lovely government plan to use our hard earned money aka tax payer money to fund the unnecessary items which DO NOT BENEFIT the nation. There are lots more that we need funding but never gotten any... Sigh~ 

Quarter 4 - 2011

Today is the last day of 2011... another 12 hours to go and say goodbye to year 2011 and say hello to year 2012. Before ending the year 2011... let's review Quarter 4

October
Nearly got into an accident on the way back one raining evening. It was a scary moment and luckily i was in control of my car well. Just a bit of stretches under my front part of my car and a scary moment.

November
Penang Bridge run and We Run KL were the last two run of the year. I was pushing myself to get the finisher medal on the Penang Bridge run as it's has the time limit to get the finisher medal.

December
17 days road trip in Thailand was the finale of the year 2011... It was an enjoyable 17 days out from thinking of work... switched my job from a project manager to a photographer for the 17 days. thousands++ photos has been taken.  What a switch eh~? Anyway, i haven't posted all the photo to the blog, maybe i should follow what FoongPc has done... blog for a year regarding his trip to Cambodia. Stay tune for photo and i will make sure i won't bore you with all my 17 days thailand trip post eh~

The year 2011 ended with an enjoyable year even though a busy working life, a not so aggressive year for TZ... but I has taken time to spend with my family and friends... overall a very satisfy year for me. I hope i would have more enjoyable year in 2012...

Roll Back to Quarter 2 & Quarter 3 - 2011

April
My new project finally gone live and the first batch of customers came in and used the system... It was a hard work for the whole team to get the release completed. Anyway, it also earned me tans of replacement leaves. So now you know why i got to travel so much in a year ;-)

May
My very first run in Putrajaya. It was a relay run as Medie007 signed up for 5 of us including himself. Each of us running 3km and i was not performing well as my route was going uphill :( Anyway, it was an enjoyable run back in May.

My very first trip to Bangkok. The city of Angel... The city was very big... of cause bigger than the city of potholes. BTW, and as what Twilight said everything is CHEAP CHEAP and CHEAP... We have a good time there. I couldn't imagine i was back to the city 6 month later...

July
This month of the year was very dry... nothing much happened and moreover after the vacation in June. The most disappointed moment was having the announcement from my boss ... No travel for the rest of the year :(... Anyway, i was using the month of July to slim down since i gained weight in the beginning of the year. So i tried out a PT session...

August
My dearest Nikon D70 died... death cause : Moldy. Anyway, i gotten another baby Nikon D7000. This was the month which I had so much photographing with my new Nikon D7000. Why? i went to Ho Chih Ming, Vietnam for 10 days. It was a nice trip as i was having the drivers to drive me around. Hehehe... sis's driver. :p

September
Another change happened in this month... Guess what? the change of BOSS. I was reported to the Senior manager instead of the director. This was a not so good feeling as they re-shuffle the organization. Anyway, i survived the change and moving forward.

I gotten a new job and i switched from a local company back to MNC. I felt like i was going back home as i like to work in MNC company then the local one. Not to say local company not good but i enjoyed working in MNC.

Hey I was kind of lazy for the year 2011... I only noticed that i didn't even do a report out on Chinese New Year 2011. Anyway, it's just the same old Chinese New Year... blah blah blah... But every year i got this super huge prawn that my uncle specially gave it to me...

I planned and booked the ticket to Bangkok (June 2011 trip) at the same time i was loaded in my job... more and more projects came under my portfolio... so did i get the day off... Hmmmm... I was working hard and playing hard too. Anyway, it was a dry March 2011 but it's good that i have something to look forward. The First time to Bangkok.

Near miss

Last Thursday, it was raining heavily in the evening. By the time i was heading home, there were still drizzling and the road was full of running water. That day, I skipped gym as i was tired and promised my mom to go back for dinner. 

Since i was not heading to FF-1MK, I used the non-Toll road which is Jalan Istana. If you have been to Jalan Istana before, you will know how the road looks like... There's a lots of curves in and out. I was happily cruising in the fast lane and didn't notice i was driving quite fast. Suddenly the front car pressing the emergency brake. And immediately i pressed mine. I forgot the road was full of water, as i pressed mine, my car slip out from the fast lane and nearly hit the car besides me. I thought i'm gonna hit the car besides me but luckily i was quick enough to pull back my steering to the other side and I ended up clashing my car into the side of the road. 

Car was slightly damage at the bottom, I was in shocked... I was so soooo soooo lucky that i didn't hit any cars... =.="

So folks, do drive slowly during this rainy season eh~

Going to be SICK...

Oh man! the sick season is coming to town... I hear gym goer cough cough here and cough cough there... everywhere cough cough... The weather changes very fast... morning it was sunny and blue sky. Few hours later, the sky turned dark and the rain drops started... Must be someone like to sing " Rain drop keeps falling on my head"... hey stop it... later you got wet and sick then you know...

Anyway, i have to get some rest too... Not feeling very well. Feel like i'm going to get sick too.

Anyway, my friend has already NOT feeling well...  I was MSN with my friend...

Me: why today no plan?
Me: Staying at home playing game?
Friend: Yea
Me: So bore?
Friend: No la
Friend: NOT feeling well...
Me: Too much of beer?
Friend: No ar
Friend: Long time no drink lo
Me: hahaha...
Me: Next time we go TGIF eh~ Now 2 cocktails for RM50nett.

Then my friend didn't reply... don't know whether too concentrate on the game or dozed off because of NOT feeling well. Anyway, take a good rest and get well soon eh~

Now i gonna hit the bed soon. Before that, if i'm really sick can someone please help to call my boss to inform him i'm on SICK LEAVE eh~

Back from Country "V"

I just got back from country "V" on Monday. I have so much work to catch up on Tuesday. Basically i spent the whole day to get everything in place and was reading my mail from work for the past 10 days. Near to a thousand mails.

Anyway, let's put aside the 1000+ work emails... guess what? I have taken around 1000+ pictures during my 10 days in Country "V"... Now, i have so much things to share with all of you but just don't want to share it like one of our fellow blogger... errrrr no offense eh~ Everyone has his / her own style of present his / her thought.
