Day 2 : A very tired and fruitful day

I was roaming around the cultural village from 10am-5:15pm... managed to catch the show @ 11:30pm... visited all the houses in the village. Interesting enough i learnt at least seven different ethic culture in Sarawak...

1. Orang- Ulu
2. Bidayuh
3. Penan
4. Malanau
5. Iban
6. Melayu
7. Chinese

There were people in each house that explained to us on the culture and their day to day life. So almost everyone thought that i came from Singapore when i visited the house.... do i look like Singaporean... errrr..... I just had my bandana on with my usual wear singlet and bermuda + boots. TZ the Singaporean went up and down to and from the house... hahaha.... i'll post the picture later eh! ...

We reached our guest house after 1.5 hours of horse riding ... no offense to Sarawakian... I felt that i was riding a horse cause the bumpy road with me sitting at the back of the van... my butt was jumping up and down... ;p

At the lodge, while we were chatting with Uncle Louise in the common area on where to get a good seafood and some other interesting place to visit, we met Chris, the Canadian Born Chinese who is having a post in the Kuching hospital for a month on his study. Later Chris joined us for dinner on what Uncle Louise was recommending... It was a seafood paradise on top of the carpark.... Wow!!! never knew if Uncle Louise not recommended this place... During the dinner, Chris and I have lots of catchup on Canada... hope we didn't bore Jonzz.

So for tomorrow, 3 of us will be leaving for Semanggok - visit our friends Richard... in the morning. Later, in the afternoon we will be going to Satuk Market ... a very special market that sell food, fruits which we will not get in the supermarket... :)

Don't you know boots and shorts is a very typical Singaporean look for tourists? :P When I went to Bangkok, I even remarked that about a friend who dressed similarly - seems that when we see tourists in shorts, high socks and boots - it looks very Singaporean-ish. :P

But sounds like you had fun alright! I bought a Dayak sword when I was at the Cultural Village! :)

Dude, you must be very kiasu looking to be tagged as Singa-por-lang. LOL.
You seem to be having a hectic holiday rather than a relaxed boring one. Good! Enjoy!
