Credit Card got cloned and suspended...
I just got a called from the bank and my credit card got clone and suspended... no credit card for few days... so no shopping for me ... hehehe :-(
I was a little upset when i received the call from the bank stated that my credit card got cloned. They had suspended my card and will only replace my card in 3-4 days. Fortunately, i have another card to use otherwise that's goes my shopping this week.
I thought with the chip, they would be difficult to clone the credit card. Why this happened again? I'm not very comfortable with this bank credit card since day 1... so until recently only i agreed to accept the card. *sigh* why this is happening to me :-(

hmm, maybe you high profile, heavy activities ...so easily targeted lor ...or perhaps check your spending pattern, check the bank investigation center, is there any suspiciuos merchants that u shld avoid ????
For my Citi card, at least the bank called told me mine was being cloned, and they quickly sent me another card - same number, diff chip with diff security code..so to me, is no downtime - lucky,else pengsan calling and changing all my automated payments instructions ...eg MBSA, Astro, TNB, Telekom, Maxis, WorldVision etc etc etc
Bahija: *Sigh*... i have so much to settle and yet this come out from no way... anyway, thanks for your advice... will check with the bank on next week.
Luckily, I did not face this kind of problem before. Touch wood. I hope that I won't face it in future. :D

i kena b4...after i bought a Fujitsu laptop in sungai wang. i only signed twice that month, kinokuniya and that fujitsu shop. :| so u all can guess la, which is the culprit.
Alvin: I still don't know which is the culprit... anyway, i guess something must have happened in Penang :-(
