Thanks god, my project management exam has finished. Now waiting for another one more in the afternoon. The International Business... Hopefully i can score Distinction for this paper ;-)

Exam is coming to town

You better watch out, you better get prepared,

Yup~ My MBA exam is coming to town. On the way from Australia... ;-) This semester examination schedule was a disaster. 2 exams are scheduled in a same day. 5.5 hours of exam in total~

Maybe because of my Project Manager - professional instinct, I have given the coordinate an heads-up that we have to plan the examination schedule upfront as the examination actually dropped on Diwali timeframe. Unfortunately no one bother to take into the consideration of this clash.

Few weeks back, the challenge has arose and for those whom celebrates Diwali found difficulty to have the exam especially Diwali eve. They started to panic and requested the coordinate to change the timing... too bad it's too late~

No more ranting and talking...

MBA : Married But Available

Gaining the Married But Available (MBA) status is not as easy as i thought. Not so much of the tough syllabus on the course, it's the time commitment to finish the assignment and preparation for exam. I was tied up with all the assignment throughout the Chinese New Year, that's why you don't see me continue blogging for a while which i have so many things to blog about.

Anyway, tomorrow is my first Final Exam for this semester. I will have to hit the book again. Will slot in sometime whenever i feel like taking a break. ;-)
 

Minions -

Few weeks back i was studying for my mid-term. When i took a break from my study, i was dreaming of the minions which sitting besides my bed... Can one of them help me on my study and exam, and the other one work out my assignment. 

The idea that i have is from the movie Despicable Me 2. The minions can be maid to vacuum the house; the one that can be the fire-bragger with the famous "Beedo Beedo Beedo" So why can't eh~

Examination preparation

The final exam for MBA semester #1 will be starting on Feb 19th... So I need to kick start on the study. It's so different in Exam Study nowadays with the technology... which totally different from the convention way (using books only). When i was a student in Canada, I only read books and notes. Now, YouTube have given a short cut to learn the subject.

No wonder the Y and Z generation learn things so fast~

68 percent

68 percent... No no it's not my daily lucky today @ Facebook... although i did check out my daily lucky today once a while to see how lucky am i for the day... but one thing i would not be bother by the percentage... :p

So what is 68%? hehehe... it's my trial exam score on Sunday. I was scoring the highest in the class but I was still not satisfied with the score... I should have done better... So what should i do from now until Saturday? I have to STUDY STUDY and STUDY... I wanna to score high~

Next exam : CSCP

I just passed my SAP ABAP certification examination... so now I was so eager to pursue another examination which i have postponed since June 2008. When is the exam? December 2009. Three months from now. I would need to start my studies immediately since there are 4 very thick material to cover. Will need to answer 120 questions in 3 hours if i'm not mistaken which covered the whole Supply Chain (End-to-End).

What is CSCP? CSCP stands for Certified Supply Chain Professional. A truly end-to-end view of the supply chain. From manufacturing to service, in business and consumer markets, the increasingly important role of effective supply chain management affects all organizations. 

Anyway, I'm looking forward to get this certification so i could move up the value chain ... and have better paid job...

It's less than 24 hours ...

What am i feeling now ?
Am i nervous? Errrr.... not really!
Am i feeling information overload? A little...
Am i feeling happy? Yes, my torturing period will be going to end
Am i feeling worry? ya! a bit coz so many things to remember :(

What i need is to have a relaxing day before my exam... So i decided to hit the gym this afternoon with some weight training and pilate class to release certain stress then later continue with my revision... Hopefully i could score on tomorrow exam.

It's a mutiple choice exam and we will do it online (ya! means we answer on the computer screen... hehehe ... no more paper) ... After the 3 hours exam. That's come the exciting and nervous moment ... [Drum please]~ The result of the exam... the result will be known exactly 12pm tomorrow. There will be a pass and fail flag with some breakdown. The certificate will be sent to my mailing address within a month.

So. wish me lotz of GOOD luck eh! ... BTW, can i borrow all the GOOD luckz from you ... TZ need GOOD luckz. Will return to you after 12pm tomorrow afternoon ;-)

Completed the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) course

I finally completed the 4 days 8 hours CSCP instructor led course. From next week onwards, i need to start the exam preparation studies...

4 days CSCP course

I have signed up for a 4 days Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) course this week. The course is quite interesting and i learnt quite a lot of new knowledge for the past two days. This certified program is for the high management so the material is from the perspective of the management.

The cost of the CSCP course is RM9,000 which includes the APICS learning system material and instructor led classes and the examination on June 21st 2008. It's quite pricy but i have to work hard to pass this certification to upgrade my skillset and experience to get a better job. I think this is a worth investment as i'm going to look for a consultation job in the near future.

Wish me luck eh! I have to work hard to get this certification... cannot play play only :->

Study! Study and Study! ...

I was regreted to sign up for 2 exams this Saturday. Although i managed to finish one book, i still have another one to go. The 2nd book is not as easy as the first one. I have been struggling to finish one chapter just before lunch. Hopefully i would be able to finish at least 3 chapters before 5pm. If i could managed to do it, i will be going to the gym this evening, otherwise i need to stay @ home to finish the cahpters :-(

Let's see how it's go... gotta to hit the book again :-(

Two CPIM exams on March 15th 2008

I have signed up for two CPIM paper : Basic Supply Chain Management (BSCM) and Master Resource Planning (MRP) on March 15th 2008. I have another week to prepare for these two examination. Fortunately my manager has approved my one week leave.

I went for the trial exam and the result was not very good... maybe because i stayed up too late last night to watch the Malaysia General Election polling result. I only slept on 3am. The trial exam result was very bad... this means that i need to put more effort on the study to pass the exam... :->

Peaceful Saturday Morning

You must be wondered why i woke up early this morning. I was having my CPIM exam @ 8:30am near PJ hilton.

Since i woke up early, i managed to take the KL morning view... :->

I was not sure what will be the result for my CPIM exam today... hurray! let's party first as this is my last exam for year 2007. I will not have any exam until next year Feb 2008 (i think). So what would be your plan for X'mas? I might be going to Penang with my parent. For so many years, we did not celebrate our X'mas in Penang as what we used to do during my secondary school. But my dad had suggested to celebrate X'mas @ Penang this year. Hurray! Penang here i come. Need to apply my leave on Monday...

Back to my CPIM exam, I was at the test center about 8:30am. I was the earliest to sit in the room. The room was freezing cold in addition of the stress :-p (if i felt cold, means very cold b'coz I seldom compliant i feel cold). Anyway, i bumped into those people that took the last module with me. They were taking the same module too.

The exam started @ about 9:16am and went thru three hours. The questions were tricky and my confident level was not as high as previous module. So don't know whether i would fail this round or not. Who cares, what ever demage has already demaged... so just enjoy as of now before the result is out...

I took two days leave from work just to concentrate on my study for the exam on this Saturday. The last minutes review to cover all the possible questions (I wish). This module is one of the tough module according to my lecturer, i'm a little bit worry, but still I will try my best!

My nephew's Wedding - Dec 2nd 2007

My nephew's is going to get marry this coming Sunday (Dec 2nd 2007). He is my aunty's daughter's son i.e. my cousin's son... i bet he is excited right now. Initially, i thought i could attend the wedding but later i found out that i have two CPIM exam on the road, one in this coming Sunday (Dec 2nd 2007) and another one on Dec 8th 2007. Too bad your uncle me could not attend your wedding then...

Sorry man, I could not attend your wedding... anyway, congratulation and will catch up with the photo than.

CPIM exam is approaching...

Oh! i need to kick start my study again for my Certification on Production and Inventory Managment (CPIM). The exam is on Dec 8th 2007. This time i would have two thick books to study before the exam... estimated time 2-3 weeks. Might take a 2-3 days off for study before the exam.

BTW, one good news from me ... guess what? I have passed my 1st module... and i have four to go... if i passed the coming one... it will leave another 3 to go for next year. Hurray!

Will start my study tomorrow... Hey got a lunch date afterwards @ The Garden. My friend just came back from Singapore for a weekend vacation. Just talked to her last night to arrange for a lunch today... Gotta leave now. :-p

Examination is over... hurray!

Finally, my examination is over... after a two days studied hard... i managed to have at least 80% confident to pass the exam. This is not necessary the case as it will also depends on all the participant whom takes the exam... they will have a bell curve to decide. Anyway, the result will be out in few week time... Let's see! BTW, Thanks to all my friends for wishing me luck for my exam... especially thanks to Sbanboy for texting me yesterday to encourage me and wishes me luck :-p Thanks Sbanboy...

Guess what i did after my exam... Shopping! I went shopping with Darrenzeger. We went to the newly opened Pavilion - a nice and modern mall in KL. This is the latest mall in KL... The mall is awesome. When we reached there, the Espirit was having a fashion show in the concourse area. We stopped there and look @ the fashion show. Lot's of photography fanatics were taking picture of the model as the models were doing the cat walk.

Walked around for about 1-2 hrs... finally we decided to hang around Planet hollywood for snack and beers / cocktails. We headed Isetan after our quick stop @ Planet Hollywood... Started our shopping spree. I bought lots of Nike stuff and one G2000 BLU polo shirt. Darrenzeger bought couple of clothing etc... We left Lot 10 @ about 7 something.

I sent Darrenzeger back after dinner...

A tired day with lots of new clothing for next week. :-)

110% - two days before exam...

I'm taking two days off to do my final study on the Certification on Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) before my Saturday exam... I have committed to place 110% effort to catch up with all the gaps which has been identified on my last trial exam. :-p

It has been years without taking so serious on my study... my life basically is just work! work! and work!... This is a good opportunity to upgrade myself to the next level with the certification. I was studying since 8 something this morning, my stomach is calling for food now. So decided to take a break and blog a little bit...

Anyway, back to the exam, i felt different from my University time as i didn't feel any stress on exam back in those day. But this time i feel it... I think maybe i'm not well prepare and still struggling to make use of the last two days to catch up with the study which i don't actually do it during my school day...

Anyway, I gotta to order my lunch online and hit the book again while waiting for my lunch to be delivered. Enjoy the rest of your day eh!...
