#A34 Aras Level B1

Do you ever get lost in the middle of a huge basement carpark which you don't know where you parked your car earlier? Especially after an excited shopping in a huge shopping mall.

Few ways people remember where they park their car...

Way #1 - You remember where you come out from the carpark, which door you walk into the mall. Later you have to go back the same door. How to remember? Remember by shops~

Way #2 - You take a snapshot of the pillar where your car is? Remember the route back to the pillar, in case you forget, still can ask around.

Way #3 - Remember the pillar by heart and ask the buggy service send you to the pillar/car parked

Which other ways you have come across? Of which way you usually do to find where your car parked after your exciting shopping in the mall.

Gender Confusion: Male or Female?

I was shopping for male and female converter for my MacBook to my flat screen TV... it's a tough time to shop for this converter... hehehe, i myself have confused which one is male in my TV and which one is Female... Now, I know my MacBook is male and I need the Mini DVI female to match with my Macbook. :)

I managed to shop for one converter which is suit my Macbook and with the other end is Female. Now need a Male DVI and a Female HDMI... the only doubt that i have is what is gender for my Flat Screen TV... Male or Female... a check is needed to confirm?

Anyway, any volunteer doc here to help me to check whether my flat screen TV is male or female... ? I also wanna to learn how to check ... muhahaha :p

Son got cheated...

A interesting drama filmed in One Utama...

I was taking escalator down from the top floor... when i reached the gents and children department @ Jusco. I came across a couple with 2 children... one girl and one boy. The boy has a toy in his hand and a smile to his dad... asking his dad to get him the nice toy that he wanted so much. I was not sure whether the boy has been bugging his dad for the toy for a long time or not ... but the father was asking the boy's mother to bring both the boy and his sister down to the ground floor which is the ladies department. At the same time, he promised his son to pay for the toy after the boy went down later.

What i saw just few minutes later... the father left the toy on one of the shelf and went down the escalator together with me ... The boy and his mom + sis was in front of me and the dad was at the back of me. The boy kept looking back on his dad, I bet he knew that he got cheated by his dad as his face turn sad when he saw his dad came down with nothing... When reached the end of the escalator, I heard that the father said to the son that he could not pay in the ladies department... errrrr... such an excuse, he thought that his son was as dump as him... muhahaha... i bet his son i.e. the boy actually saw the whole action...

OK! Guess what was the next reaction of the son when they started walking @ the ladies department... of course cry and cry and cry!... the boy shouted so loud that he got cheated by his dad... what a waste... I should follow them to see the whole drama... but i didn't :p

Anyway, my father never lied to me on not getting me toy... he always explained why he thinks that he don't want to pay for the toy... hehehe :) What were your dad did when you wanted a toy that he don't agree to pay? Mind to share... or what would your do if your son wanna a toy that you don't want to pay for it?...

Today's plan....

Finally i have been to Malaysia so called Bachelor Night... nothing much... just like a gathering to me. I saw children running around... so many aunties gossiping and uncle talking about politic when i reach my friends place. Initially, I had a big question mark as why my two ladies x-colleagues were invited too. But when i reached there, straightaway i got the answer... hehehe. Errrrr...  It was a lot different from the bachelor night back in Canada... so now i know how's Malaysian bachelor night like... BORING! anyway, we just sat there chatting and chatting and chatting ... nothing much... left the place at about 11pm. Hit the bed after back to my condo....

Woke up 9am today... plan to do some shopping with my mom in One U later. Hopefully i could get a carpark.  The federal highway was packed with cars due to everyone was driving to hit Midvalley yesterday.... Sigh! I had to skip Midvalley and hit One U... My Today's plan ... nothing much... Just shop shop shop shop until drop... :p Later, I will attend the wedding tonite.

Anyway gotta to go now. Will update later eh! :)

Meeting Friend @ Chili's, Gurney Place :->

I went shopping with my cousin's boy friends Tony. My cousin dropped us @ Gurney Plaza and went off for her meeting @ downtown Penang. Gurney Plaza is a crowded and most happening place in Penang especially a hot day like yesterday. Everyone was heading for the shopping mall to enjoy the cool air conditional. :-p

Our first stop, Nike @ Gurney. I managed to get a Nike Pro singlet as it marked 20% off of the normal price. There was no such a discount in KL, so I quickly got it and moved on to another shop. We walked about 2 hours+ and ended up I bought 2 items, the Nike Pro Singlet and the fitball. Before headed to the Gurney, i have already bought myself two boxes of Levi's underwear which is on sales and 2 Polo Raulph Laurel Shirt, one for my dad and the other one for myself @ Metrojaya Island Plaza. It was great shopping @ Penang.

Okay, back to Gurney, Tony and I were tired after walking for hours. So, we decided to drop by a place which we could get some cool and nice beer/drinks. The first hit me was Chili's @ Gurney Place. The Chili's which Mahen, my bartender friend is working. Managed to meet Mahen yesterday as he was working. He was surprised and happy to see me visiting him. We greeted and i introduced my cousin's boy friend, Tony to him. We chat a little and continue with our drinks and food... guess what we ordered @ Chili's? We started with 2 cold Tiger beer from the draught and the Buffalo wings. Yummy! (that's went my workout @ the gym, don't tell my PT eh!)... Since the time was still early, we decided to stay on for a while, we continued to order the CHAMBORD® 1800 MARGARITA and CLASSIC NACHO. My cousin joined us later and we ordered more food and drinks to snack on.

CLASSIC NACHOS : Our nachos have beans, queso with a hint of seasoned beef, cheese and jalapenos on every chip. Served with pico de gallo and sour cream.

WINGS OVER BUFFALO® : Delicious chicken drumettes tossed in our spicy Buffalo wing sauce. Served with cool bleu cheese dressing.

CHAMBORD® 1800MARGARITA : Distinctly flavorful. Distinctly yours. 1800 Reposado®, Cointreau and Chambord® raspberry liqueur

At about 7pm, we headed to the restaurant to join my uncle and aunties for dinner with partially full... full of alcohol and snacks :-p

MAC BOOK by Apple

I'm researching and looking to own a MacBook by Apple. I came across a couple of model which i'm interested but the price is actually on the high side. So, I'm still calculating my budget for owning a MacBook.

Here are the shortlisted model that i would like to own, have to choice one of it ( Most probably i will choose the black one i.e. MB063X/A)

2.0GHz MacBook(MB061X/A)
2.2GHz MacBook(MB062X/A)
2.2GHz MacBook(MB063X/A)

Link to the detail configuration: http://www.applemalaysia.com.my/macbook/specs.html

Then, my friend just sent me an interesting picture about Apple... the mail title stated "FW: Going CRAZY -Transparent screen by APPLE!!!" So what i noticed from the snapshot that attached with his mail. My first reaction is that all the laptop are awesome! With the new technology or design, we no longer need to twist our head to view what has happened to be hidden from our view which happened in front of us... No laptop screen blocking the view in the future if this comes into reality.

What do you think? Cool Eh!

Two nice and high end mall have officially opened on September 20th and 26th 2007. These two mall are Pavilion (built on the Bukit Bintang Girl School) downtown KL and the Garden which is an expansion of Mid Valley City. The two malls have attracted new tenants and new retail stores such as Club Monaco, Robinson, the coast London etc... I still remembered i have a shirt that i bought in Club Monaco way back in Canada. Finally, i see Club Monaco in KL... :->

BTW, I visited The Garden this afternoon and had my lunch @ Starbucks The Garden Mid Valley. Initially i would like to get connect and update my blog about The Garden but unfortunately the Starbucks @ The Garden has no broadband connection yet. Anyway, it was a nice experience dining @ Starbucks The garden.

After lunch, i walked around the mall and finally i decided to stopped by Isetan The Garden. This Isetan is different from KLCC and Lot 10. This Isetan has a very tasteful designed and it looks more classy than KLCC and Lot 10. The staffs over this Isetan are very well trained and I got a good treatment as a customer :-> Guess what? I bought one handy beg from Timberland @ Isetan the garden.

Examination is over... hurray!

Finally, my examination is over... after a two days studied hard... i managed to have at least 80% confident to pass the exam. This is not necessary the case as it will also depends on all the participant whom takes the exam... they will have a bell curve to decide. Anyway, the result will be out in few week time... Let's see! BTW, Thanks to all my friends for wishing me luck for my exam... especially thanks to Sbanboy for texting me yesterday to encourage me and wishes me luck :-p Thanks Sbanboy...

Guess what i did after my exam... Shopping! I went shopping with Darrenzeger. We went to the newly opened Pavilion - a nice and modern mall in KL. This is the latest mall in KL... The mall is awesome. When we reached there, the Espirit was having a fashion show in the concourse area. We stopped there and look @ the fashion show. Lot's of photography fanatics were taking picture of the model as the models were doing the cat walk.

Walked around for about 1-2 hrs... finally we decided to hang around Planet hollywood for snack and beers / cocktails. We headed Isetan after our quick stop @ Planet Hollywood... Started our shopping spree. I bought lots of Nike stuff and one G2000 BLU polo shirt. Darrenzeger bought couple of clothing etc... We left Lot 10 @ about 7 something.

I sent Darrenzeger back after dinner...

A tired day with lots of new clothing for next week. :-)

Just a normal Saturday...

My mobile rang early morning Saturday... you know who called me such early in the morning... Usually i would have scolded the person that woke me up especially Saturday and Sunday morning... but i don't know why today i just have not been who i'm, i was so patient to answer the phone ... ask Musa... he would be able to describe how i sound.

Anyway, Musa woke me up @ about 8:30am, and asking me to go out for breakfast... I was still dreaming and dream of nice nice things ... Musa, you just broke my nice dream... :-p Don't worry, it was not important. :-> After chat for about 2 mins... i finally agreed to drag myself up and hit the shower then go out to Great Eastern Mall to meet Musa for breakfast. There were no one except a person that sit in front his laptop to pretend he was so busy... Why i said so, it was because today is SATURDAY :-p

So, had breakfast with Musa and sent him to his church down the road. After sending him i pop up to the Starbucks again @ KLCC. What a day as i could not get the connection to the internet @ StartBuck. it was so dissapointed as i wanted to update my blog... Anyway, it was already 11:15 when i tried the final time to connect. I decided to leave Starbucks and headed Fitness First @ Maxis.

Steve was the instructor for Pilate Basic today replacing Ginny who is in Singapore now. I felt so tough as i stopped the class for quite sometime due to travelling. Fortunately, i still have the base and did not actually have a hard time to warm up. Steve, you have done a good job on Pilate... :-> Keep up the good job eh! I stayed on for cardio and workout after the Pilate class. I decided to have 30mins cardio on x-Trainer. Guess how much that i burnt in Calories today? hehehe.. I burnt total 324 cal in 30 mins. It comes to 1 mins = 32.4 cals burnt with the average heart rate = 145.

After the cardio, i hit the freemotion to workout my chest, bicep, tricep and so on... then walk up upstair to do some chin up... 2 set with 5 reps each. :-) Finished the workout, hit the shower, and dropped by Isetan for some grocessary shopping with my late lunch. :->

I'm so lazy rite now ... but need to get going as i need to prepare to leave KL for Seremban to attend a social dinner @ Seremban... My mom is one of the artist that has the exhibition last week and there will be a dinner tonite. Ciao!

New stuff for myself

I walked around Midvalley after staying in Starbucks for hours. I like to explore new technology. As i walked over to the 3rd floor, I saw an Apple authorize store MACHINE... yuppie! i would be able to see new product from Apple (I'm an Apple Fans). They are promoting the Apple TV and it has lots of cool feature but unfortunately i'm not impress with their storage. They could only store up to 40GB... which is quite small. Anyway, this is the 1st version of Apple TV. The 2nd version come with 160GB but not in Malaysia yet. Check it out in MACHINE @ MidValley. I'm looking forward to the iPHONE... how about you? Are you into Apple product too?

It was a lucky day for me as i finally found the car accessary that i have been looking around in Malaysia. Yea! I would be able to drive to Penang this afternoon with non-stop music that i like... I just uploaded 20 new songs to my iPOD last night.
Pick up my Mom from her friends place and headed to my aunt's place for dinner. After the dinner, we went to IKANO. Guess what? I shopped again and bought myself a pair of nice and comfortable CROCS ... cool eh! I always wanted to have a chnage as I never like slipper since young. So normally i will wear shoes to go out with my friends. When i tried on this pair of CROCS yesterday, I had decided to buy it because it was so comfortable... :-p
Anyway, i also bought another singlet for my gym session, it is a tight one which could show off a little *my face turn red - embarrass* Anyway, my PT keeps encouraging me to try and wear some tight singlet... so i kind of trying out ... hehehe... after all, i have been working out for quite sometime and it's for me to show off *wink* :-p

Shopping @

Went to oneU with sis and mom. We reached there at about 3pm, wondering around in the carpark for about 30mins. Finally, got a good spot near the entrance and straight headed to Parkson 1U as my sis wanted to buy the bed sheet and Quilt cover as advertised. Mom, on the other hand wanted to purchase curtain as there is a 70% off. At the end, we got nothing and we could not find the brand that have advertised in the pamplet. I asked the customers service where I could get the brand as advertised, their answer was we do have this brand, please try the promotion area. When we got to the promotion area, the sales person there mentioned that there was no such item and recommended us to get another brand which is double the price. Is this a gimmick or not? I was so pissed off and sweared that i'll not go to Parkson again in the future for any discounted items... Others, please beware of the gimmick... :-(

Anyway, since sis is going to move to a new house. She wanted to head to Jusco home center to shop for kitchen appliances (hob and hood). There was a sales guy whom was so enthuthiastic to sell the brand Tellini instead of others brand. I bet tellini must have given him a good commission :-> Sis have not decided which one she is going to get. We shopped there for about 2.5 hrs and headed out from the home center with lots of different brochure.

We had our dinner @ Genki Sushi, A japanese sushi bar type of restaurant with the convey belt in the middle, serving all kinds of sushi. We had the sashimi set and a plate of soft shell crab roll... yummy :->

Left 1U after dinner...
