Sunday morning service @ TBIC

I have been talking about paying a visit to The Bridge Internation Church (TBIC) on Sunday. But for the past few months, i have been tight up with either business trip or my certification class which happened on almost every Sunday. Finally, i gotta the chance to attend the Sunday service today.

Woke up @ about 0900 this morning, took a quick shower and headed to TBIC. The TBIC is located @ Jalan Ampang. It only took 15mins from my condo ;-) Reached TBIC @ about 1000, just in time. Saw Darrenzeger @ the entrance and he was happy to see me there.

Met Pastor Todd before the service started. The service started at about 10 something with Dalantau lead the singing. The group sang very well... Well done Dalantau & Darrenzeger. The songs that you have selected were so lively and meaningful. :-> After the singing... Pastor Todd proceed with news update, followed by some explanation on some character in the bible. It was interesting and guess what? I learnt something new on Christianity.

After the services, i joined the group and have lunch at Chicken Rice Shop, Great Eastern Mall. We chat while having lunch... met lots of people today... i'm very bad of remember names... so sorry if i missed your name :-p

Darrenzeger, thanks for inviting me to your church... it was a nice experience knowing the members of the church. Will try to attend once i come back from my business trip... :-)

Day 3 - Transfer to Phi Phi / Sunset @ Phi Phi

Darrenzeger and I woke up quite late after a full day trip to Jamesbond Island and enjoyed ourselves @ the bar hopping the night before... :->

Anyway, we spent about 1.5 hours in the internet cafe that morning just to transfer all the photo so that the memory card could be cleared up for more picture. We checked out and waited for the minibus person to pick us up at about 1pm. About 45mins ride from Patong Beach to Rasada Pier south of Phuket town. The minibus picked us up @ Patong and we went thru Phuket town.

After about 2 hours boat ride, we finally reach Koh Phi Phi. I was so excited to see the nice island that i wanted to go since years ago :-) We stayed in a 4 stars hotel @ the Phi Phi Don village. Very near to the happening bar and restaurant.

We went for a walk @ Koh Phi Phi in the evening after check in. We managed to climb all the way up to the view point for sunset... :-> Very nice sunset @ Phi Phi island. Will post an entry on Sunset @ Phi Phi with more picture and video clip :->

Another 4 hours ... I'm leaving Phuket

Another 4 hours more to go and i will say goodbye to Phuket / Phi Phi... It was a great week holiday with Darrenzeger @ Thailand... We went to couples of nice places, tried different foods, different type of massage and met couple of nice people along the way especially our two newly meet friends (Ian and Richard) from UK. Also people from Sweden, Isreal, Argentina, China ... etc. :-) This is what i called a free and easy trip. This trip is costing more than the package tour but it is fun man... meeting people from around the world and they travel the whole Thailand. I wanna to plan and do it maybe next year. Boss can i take 1 month leave for Thailand trip next year?

The whole trip was smooth and enjoyable, there were no hiccup / challenges... the infrastructure that provided to the tourist is so good. Kudos to the Thai government on its tourism. The only hiccup that we had is Darrenzeger having a stomach discomfort since yesterday morning during our way back from Phi Phi... poor Darrenzeger... hope you get well soon.... i hope you have enjoyed your holiday.

Gotta go rite now. Will continue update my Day 3,4,5 ...etc. No mood to write now, it was so hot now and i'm sweating like a crazy man. Anyway, i had an enjoyable week and looking forward to start working tomorrow (am i telling the truth? I don't think so... hehehe.... If possible, i wanna to stay for another few days in Patong and explore on the surrounding island. )

Day 2 - Phang Nga Bay -- James Bond Island

Left Phuket for Phang Nga after breakfast. Darrenzeger and I were ready and waited for our guide to pick us up from the guest house at about 10 something.

Other than both Darrenzeger and I, we also met three guys from Agentina, a couple from China and two guys (Ian and Richard) from UK. I don't know the other guy where is he from... We started to make some new friends by face not by name along the way... it was fun to have some free and easy trip like this.

Straightaway we hopped into the boat and headed the James Bond Island with the long tail boat (Thai version of Speed Boat - terrrific engine) Show you some photo later eh!

We went Canoing by the bay after the James bond island ... not exactly we canoed but there is a person siting at the back that he was doing the canoe and we were busying taking nice shots. Some picture were very nice ... but need some processing on lighting. Guess what? Darrenzeger wanna to try on canoe so he grabbed the paddle from the guy and start paddling... fun eh! Darrenzeger.


After visited all the nice spot... finally we had lunch @ about 4pm ... or should i said tea time. I was so hungry but it was a definite a fun day for me :-p

Day 1 - Patong Beach

Arrived @ Phuket about 16:15 local time... Phuket is one hour behind KL so hurray we gained one hour from coming to Phuket.

Checked in the hotel @ downtown Patong ... happening place @ phuket. Straightaway go out for a walk by the beach and looking at the sunset @ Patong Beach. It was so calm and nice. Had a nice Thai Eurasian Dinner near by the beach and headed for thai Old and Herbs massage... Relaxing after a whole day waiting for flight to Phuket.

After the massage, we did some bar hopping and call it a day.

Flight delay for 50mins :-(

Just received a text from AirAsia, my flight to Phuket delay for another 50mins... the flight only will leave LCCT @ about 4pm. So this has gave me sometime to have my blog update before my long week holiday...

16 hours to leave KL for my vacation...

After a busy weeks, it's time to relax myself in the sunny (cross my finger), white sandy beaches and crystal clear water of Phi Phi island and Phuket... I'm looking forward for my relaxing 1 week vacation in this Thailand most famous island.

I usually have a checklist to make sure i got everything packed. This round there will not be any different... btw, i have not packed my beg yet. I think i will only do it tomorrow morning as i'm so lazy to do it rite now. :-p

Anyway, I'm going to have my last meeting of the week with my colleague in US before my vacation. What a day man!... I told everyone that they could not reach me as i will be out from Malaysia :-) So, this colleague of mine needs some information from me as soon as possible, I have no choice to have the meeting @ 11:30pm tonight. Otherwise, he would need to wait for another week... Hey! how you will feel if i would ask you to wait? Do you like to wait for something? Day to Day... like what i have been through... waiting for today to come since the moment i decided to go to Phuket for my vacation. :-p
