The Great Escape @ Singapore...
What would you like to escape from when you are in Singapore?
There is this place called The Great Escape... basically it's a hidden place that you can escape from most of the PRC / MIC tourists in Singapore... you may be able to escape from crowd like Orchard or Marina Bay Sand. Hmmm... what else you can escape from... let's see~
It's actually located Golden Mile tower parking... so it over look the view of the new stadium and the eye of Singapore with the side view of marina bay sand...
Great place to have an evening booze booze and chat chat... My friend has a nap too. Oops~
We spent about an hour plus and headed to Arab street later~

Sembawang White Bee Hoon Restaurant @ Singapore
Believe or Not people just queue up for food in Singapore. One of my friend queued up 2 hours just to have this...
When she told me, I was like... why? I still can't believe people will queue up 2 hours for a 饱 ...
Another friend of mine told me this Sembawang White Bee Hoon Restaurant also need to queue for 2-3 hours... My first reaction was I can skip it... No way i will queue for food. It's really pack if you see the picture that adapted from Juicyfingers
Guess what? My friend bought me to taste this White Bee Hoon in this restaurant last Sunday. Of course it was not as pack as what the picture shown in Juicyfingers blog. Otherwise, you will not see me eating in the shop. Neither do my friend who also no patient to wait for food.
Hazy day, Singaporean chosen not to go out. Blast aircon to get rid of the burning smell. Maybe this is one of the reason why this restaurant lost its SIGNATURE... QUEUE~
The food is very nice and i don't mind to pay a visit in the future.

INTERSTELLAR, the movie
Are you afraid of ghost?
Are you afraid of time difference?
Are you afraid of dimensions in our world, space? (galaxy etc)
Do you want to prolong your life?
Hey, after watching this movie, it kind of giving me some thought of, is there really having this kind of dimensions and relativity theory... or just a science fictions? What do you think?
I was watching INTERSTELLAR last Friday with my friend at Paradigm Mall. I didn't expect it was a nearly 3hrs movie. Although the movie is lengthy but i did not looking forward for the movie to end. The storyline is quite good and it was a surprise ending to me.
Not to be a spoiler as i know a lot of my readers might not watch the movie yet. I would like to recommend you to watch it and let me know what do you think about those science related question they bought out in the movie...
Enjoy the movie eh~

Coffee Place : Three little birds
The Three Little Birds cafe located in a very unique place @ D7 Sentul (YTL new business center). The D7 building is a contemporary style building with a small garden inside the building which make Three Little Birds cafe different from other cafe in the city.
Three Little Birds cafe has the privilege to use the garden which allows its patron to sit outside the table surrounding with greenery plants.
Simple interior design with the strong coffee smell has drawn a coffee lover like me to wanna to try their coffee. I asked the staff for its signature drink, the staff introduced me to the white chocolate coffee... Nice but a bit sweet as I like more coffee taste.
My friend ordered the CHAI... So what is CHAI? It's tea latte~
The environment is stunning, coffee wise is so so~
Anyone been to Three Little Birds?

Huh? You haven't been to Hong Kong...
What so surprise I haven't been to Hong Kong...
During the brunch on last Sunday with four friends, we were talking about the up coming Hong Kong Trip in end of Oct. Four friends of mine have a very surprise facial expression when they heard me said "I haven't been to Hong Kong"
4 friends: Huh? You haven't been to Hong Kong
Me: Yup, I haven't been to Hong Kong, but I have been to Hong Kong International Airport for many times, transiting to US. How's Hong Kong?
friend: You will like it but bare in mind, you might feel catastrophic because of many peoples squeeze into a small cubic of land and full of tall buildings too.
Me: Is it like Tokyo? *I been to Tokyo and found it very systematic, not an issue for me*
friend: Not really, not so systematic too. With the PRC, Hong Kong might be even messy now.
Me: Oops~
friend: You will see when you are there...
Me: Hope my exam schedule will not clash.
friends: *everyone silent for a few seconds* Sigh~
I'm looking forward for the Hong Kong trip but unfortunately i was stuck with not able to buy ticket due to my exam schedule yet to be confirmed. So now just have to wait for the confirmation, so i could grab the air ticket and leave for Hong Kong....
Dear coordinate, please CONFIRM my exam schedule eh~. Thank you!!~

Coffee Place : Epique coffee company
So many coffee place in Malaysia... there are light the mushroom growing rapidly. Last week, I went to this small coffee place called Epique Coffee Company which located at Empire Damansara.
I purchased the coffee latte and my friend got the ice white chocolate.
Sitting there in the coffee, i just wondered what is this cafe specialty. Google for some information about this cafe. What is their specialty... etc. What i found in most of the people whom been to this cafe, according to them, Epique signature is Gula Malacca Banana Cake...
Just a normal banana cake with Gula Malacca...
Overall this place is nice in term of ambiance, coffee and cake is just so so only. The place is quiet and it's good place to catch up with your friends.

Singapore Safari Zoo Run 2014 : Unleash the BEASTS in you...
Have you heard about Singapore Safari Zoo Run? I didn't take part in 2013... this year my friend in Singapore has signed me up for this run... I decided to run 6km and it's a fun run. No stressed but fun... :p
This is my first time running in the zoo... A different experience especially have to bare with the stared from different animals during the run. And not many cheer from the organizers cause they have passed their cheering job to the host... :p
If given a choice to choose an animal to run with, who would you choose?
Have you made up your mind? Are you ready to run with your chosen animal? Hehehe... I won't tell me your choice but please do not ask me to choose Turtle eh~
It's time to hit the starting line... On your mark get set GO GO GO~
Due to great response, the organizer has broken us into few groups for flag-off. I was in Wave #3... This is a fun run... I spent most of my time taking picture of the animal along the way... we passed by Night Safari and day zoo. I managed to see the Night Safari in daytime ;-)
Come come come~ Take picture...Common word that you will heard most of the time... Fun Eh~
I finished the whole 6km in 1.5 hours... longer than my 10km run. Oops~ But anywhere i gotten my finisher medal too... Yay~ Yay~
Nice eh~

Yummy Sarawakian Food
When you go for a tour, what you will definitely not missing is to try out as many local food as possible. My trip to Kuching was also a food tasting trip besides the point of interest (Sarawakian Cultural Village, Kuching City tour and Sarawak River Cruise etc). Managed to try various famous Sarawakian food from Siew Bee, Kolo Mee to the three layer tea...
Not sure whether the Sarawakian really like layering.... They have famous layer tea, layer cake and what else?... LoL
My friend bought me to this 80 years old Siew Bee Stall. This stall located in a food court near the river. Siew Bee in Kuching means Siew Mai in Kuala Lumpur. But Siew Bee tastes different from Siew Mai.. I don't know how to describe the difference but i recommend you to try out yourself. The Siew Bee in this small stall which has survived with only selling one product for 80 years. It's no doubt very tasty... Yum yum~
Guess what? My friend can wallop around 20s at one time... And his parents hand carried the frozen Siew Bee to Kuala Lumpur for my friend. :p
Sarawak have few famous noodles i.e. Kolo Mee; Kampua mee and Laksa Sarawak... I managed to try two out of three noodles. Kampua mee is Sibu famous noodle. So I need to pay a visit to Sibu to taste this noodles and not forgetting the famous Empurau Fish too.
Every state in Malaysia has its own Laksa, but Laksa Sarawak has its own unique taste. First of all, it's not LEMAK (no coconut milk), and it also not so spicy. This is because its soup base is only full of quality black pepper planted in Sarawak.
Sarawakian also have its own famous wine called Tuak (Made of Rice). The % of alcohol contain is quite high, i'm not sure how much but once you have a few sips. You will feel tipsy...
Are you drooling over all these yummy food? Will you fly over to Kuching to taste all these Yummy food?

Nihon Mura Express @ Cathay Leisure - Singapore
Sushi feast for SGD1.50 per plate in Nihon Mura Express has drawn the attention of my friends and I to eat like a gluttony ;-) As the conveyor belt moving... our eyes were moving to the dish we wanna to pick up...
As many many plates passed us but we didn't see the Sake Sashimi (Raw Salmon). So we ordered from the staff 4 plates of Sake Sashimi. They combined the 4 plates into one.
We ate many more different dishes... Chawamushi... Miso Soup etc... So, the tower was in progress when i snapshot this...
As time passed... the stack of empty dishes were coming up... We reached a point that we could not eat anymore. That's it. Let me introduce the Twin Tower...
So can anyone guess how much is the total bill?

On watching LIVE performance @ Alexis Ampang
My newly known friend has arranged a night out at the Alexis Ampang for a LIVE performance by Bihzhu from Penang.
The performance lasted around 2 hours included the break. I managed to buy her first album and gotten her autography... There are 6 songs in total, the song i like most is the Xiao Bai Chuan.
Thanks to my friend invited me to this nice LIVE performance and night out...
Here you go the Xiao Bai Chuan that i like...
We had our dinner at Alexis Ampang... Dinner was so so and to me the Alexis burger was not that great. The Fatboy, Chillis and TGIF burger is way way better than Alexis burger. I should have order their Asian food ;-)

On visiting Batu Cave
It have been such a long time i haven't been to Batu Cave... when is the last time i went to Batu Cave? Can't even recall. This means that i haven't been there for a couple years. Anyway, there are quite a bit of change at Batu Cave. For those whom don't know what is Batu Cave... It's a temple built inside the Cave decades ago... Since the cave located higher ground, you need to climb 273 steps to get to the main temple.
Early bird got the worm... Why i say that because we visited Batu Cave at around 8am. No many people visits the cave yet. Mainly those whom were using the staircase for training. As a result, the parking is FREE and we managed to observe people's offerings being offered to the GOD in the main temple.
It's kind a good experience to visit Batu Cave... Have you been to Batu Cave before?

Visitors from Singapore
Two friends of mine from Singapore were in Kuala Lumpur last weekend. They flown in on Friday evening. I went to airport to pick them up.
Day #1 - Airport --> Moon Bar --> Friends' place
Another mutual friend of us has arranged to meet us at the Moon Bar @ Damansara Height. There was a jazz night. This bar served pork... pork burgers, roasted pork with bacon and so on... Yum Yum~
The jazz was very nice until we lost track of time and stayed until 2am in the morning... Over night at my friends' condominium.
Day #2 - Imbi road Pork Noodles --> Brew & Bread Cafe --> Klang Bak Kut Teh --> Fish Spa Master --> Mcdonalds --> Pandamaran Seafood --> Bonjour Cafe --> Friends' place
We woke up at 9 something, got ready and went over to Kota Kemuning for Imbi Road Pork Noodles. Not sure what is good about this pork noodles until so many queue up for the table. Luckily, their preparation and serving are quite swiftly.
Brew and Bread is just behind the Imbi Road Pork Noodles house which it's a good choice for a nice cup of coffee especially they served illy brand coffee. We have ordered 2 pieces of cakes (carrot and chocolate walnut) for sharing... cakes goes well with coffee eh~
Singaporean claimed Bak Kut Teh started from Singapore. This has made all my Klang friends so pissed. Anyway, no one can change the fact that Bak Kut Teh is originated from Klang. Do you see the yummy Bak Kut swimming in inside a pot of herbal soup? Tsk Tsk Tsk... I'm having a crave for Bak Kut Teh now. :(
First ever experience to pamper my feet for a Fish Spa @ Aeon Bukit Tinggi. In the beginning, I was so reluctant to put my feet into the water. Maybe it's a sign of fear on what would happen to my feet. Slowly after i connected with the little fishes... I felt a bit comfortable and slowly i placed my feet into the water and stay still for the fishes to have their meal.
The whole process was so ticklish and i was trying not to laugh throughout the whole session. After the spa, we dropped by McDonald for ice cream while waiting for the other friend to arrive. She was joining us for dinner
Dinner was in one of the old and famous Seafood Restaurant @ Pandamaran Port Klang. Do you see the Crab Roe? i bet you are drooling right now. We also ordered couple more seafood. Anyway, it was a very enjoyable meal as the 5 of us whom spent the Overloaded Food weekend in Malacca 1 2 gathered again in Klang for Seafood. We left Klang back to Kota Damansara after dinner since the Tong Sui at Klang required to wait for at least an hour.
My friend suggested to pay a visit to the Bonjour Cafe @ Sunway Damansara. This cafe looks porch but the service was not up to where they tried to position themselves. I'm not sure whether the coffee is nice or not as i drank tea. We were saying No Booze Just Tea! night but we ended buying the Calsburg Special Brew and went back to my friend's place to drink :p
Day #3 Batu Cave --> Yut Kee --> KLCC park --> IMAX 3D @ 1U --> Airport
Early bird got the worm... Believe it or not? We got the worm... We don't need to pay for the carpark, we managed to see the prayer in the main temple up the cave and we managed to avoid buses of tourist to Batu Cave.
All three of my friends who never visited Batu Cave. This cave was new to them. Batu Cave has welcomed its tourist with a 273 steps for climbing to the main temple ;-) Guess what? we finished the whole cave within 1.5 hrs. I learn something new and witness the offering on 8:30am at the main temple up the cave.
Yut Kee has been in KL since 1928. This is a old nanyang style cafe which served Hainanese pork chop. They are famous for its pork chop. My Singaporean friend really amaze and like the taste of the pork chop. she never tasted this kind of pork chop which is different from the western pork chop.
We are requested by the owner to share the table with 2 others customers whom we don't know each other. This is a common practice in Yut Kee Restaurant. So don't be surprise you are being asked to share. Sharing is Caring eh~
You can captured the image of the Twin Tower from different corner of KL city but do you ever go at the bottom of the twin tower and look up? So how is the view like?...
I bought the visitors to KLCC park after our breakfast. We walked about an hour and heading back to my friend's place to freshen up and heading to One Utama for Pacific Rim in IMAX 3D.
After the movie, we sat down and chill before heading to the airport. That's all folks, till then stay tune for another venture of my coming weekend. This round no more valley but it will be an island *wink
