On ordering Dominos Pizza online...

Once a while i order Domino Pizza online... this is an easy and quick way to get my food rather than i go out to buy my food. Of course i need to pay a higher price for people to deliver the meal to the doorstep in regardless sunny or rainy.

After finishing the online order, you will come across this interesting screen. i.e. GPS tracker.
Yup you may track your pizza... ;-)

Where is my pizza now? hehe... Baking~

How accurate is this tracker? To my experience, i would give it 80% accuracy. But once a while it will haywire especially when the outlet is busy.

Anyway, with or without the tracking tools, i should be able to get my pizza within 30 mins. If not i will get a LATE compensation.

Do you order from Domino before? What do you think about the tracker?

MyFitnessPal

Clam Chowder - 500 calories
FRIDAYS signature drink Mudslide - 270 calories
Roasted Pork and Char Siew rice - 1050 calories

Wow~ all those nice food have such a high calories count. I wondered how those people whom has nice 6 packs eats. Are they eating like a tweety birdie?

Let me introduce you to MyFitnessPal, my very best pal that tell me whether I exceeded my daily calories limit. How it tracks?
  1. Key into the system your targeted weights in kg/lb in how many weeks (e.g. target 74kg in 5 weeks)
  2. Report out your age, heights and weights in the system
  3. A limit of allowable calories will be shown in the daily input screen, like mine is 1270 calories per day
  4. Every time when you reported what you have eaten, you could either search from the existing database or create your own
  5. Exercise have to report out as the output of calories. It is use to contra with the calories inputted
  6. At the end of each day, the daily report will show either +ve or -ve calories.
This application has given my friends and I the awareness of how much calories that we have taken. We have a sync up session every day to monitor each other calories input... I have been +ve all the time but once a while -ve. So i should be able to achieve my goal 74.8kg if i continue to have +ve calories for 5 weeks.

So, you can start tracking your calories input... :)

Sumsung Galaxy S3

Few years back, people lined up for phone starts with "i"... today people line up for "s"... what next? Maybe they line up for phone start with "tz"... muhahaha...

My friend gotten the Galaxy S3 on last Sunday and he straightaway signed 2 years contract with Maxis... Wow~ Now the market shifting towards Samsung. I bought my Samsung Galaxy Notes last February and i'm happy with it... guess what? It's very common nowadays...

The latest Galaxy S3
Last Monday, i went out with this friend of mine and we popped into the latest TGIF outlet in Paradigm. Understand from the bartender, the outlet in Paradigm is the smallest outlet... but this is very cozy though. We have a quick chat and the bartender offered to make us his signature drinks aka Green Dinosaur.

Later, the other to be bartender helped to take this pictures with my friend's latest Galaxy S3...

Having the bartender signature drink - Green Dinosour
You must be wondering why the picture was not sharp but a bit blur... The blur picture was NOT because of the Sumsung Galaxy S3 feature, this was because the new Galaxy S3 was covered with a piece of plastic, and there was another layer on the camera. So the picture looked so blur... sigh~

Anyway, after seeing the first hand of the Sumsung Galaxy S3... I think this phone is a good buy compare to iPhone 4s. What do you think?

MAXIS Value plan - Is it VALUE FOR MONEY?

The telco companies in Malaysia are in a steep competition lately... I'm in the middle of shopping for a more suitable postpaid service provider to switch... I'm still couldn't decide whether to switch to DIGI Postpaid or Maxis Value Plan with MAXIS broadband.

I have been googling around and found that there were so many people complaint on MAXIS Customer Service... initially i thought maybe it's case by case but until i experienced myself with my friends last Saturday @ about 1:30pm, MAXIS CENTER KLCC

We went over to the front counter to pick up a number... the number slip stated 1:39pm, so we were patiently sitting on the couch and kicked started our waiting mission... 10 mins ... 20 mins ... 30 mins... 40 mins... 50mins at the end, my friend was served on the 60 mins. Guess what?My friend just wanna to check why MAXIS has charged him extra for the month of DECEMBER 2009 and we gotta to wait for 60 mins to get to our turn for two SIMPLE checking which only took 15mins. Sigh~ Sigh~ sigh~

While sitting @ the couch, I have the opportunities to observe how the MAXIS customer service center operates... All the servicing staffs took up all kind of services randomly...
  1. There are 20 counters in total.. at least 6 of them are not open... one or two counters took more than 30 mins to serve ONE customer... YES! It's more than 30 mins... :(
  2. Some of the servicing staffs were flirting with the customers and some of the staffs just walking around... Please don't ask me what were they doing... I think you should direct this question to the DEPARTMENT HEAD of MAXIS CUSTOMER SERVICE.
  3. A caucasian couple complaint to me during some small talk while waiting for their turn... they wanted to disconnect their broadband services which they claimed that it was USELESS... the connection was so slow until YAHOO page was not able to load. Yup~ It's YAHOO page... So how true was this... can any MAXIS Broadband User please help to understand the pain that the couple faced?...
  4. According to the caucasian couple, to disconnect the MAXIS Broadband service, the deactivation only can be done @ MAXIS Center, KLCC... NOT even the Maxis Service center @ Bukit Bintang... how true was this?... Hmmm.... I'm not sure... Anyone?
  5. I came to understand one of the existing customers told me that sometime it's difficult to make or receive a call due to no signal or busy network in certain area. It happened regularly... So Maxis user please help me to understand this...
Given some interaction with some existing customers and understand their pain of using MAXIS as the provider... Now, I really don't know should i sign up with MAXIS Value Plan and suffer together with them or just go for other providers like DIGI... What do you think?

Anyway, it will be back you go, watch and experience the movie... you might have different feel as me ... :) I would like to recommend as a worth to watch movie for this Summer...

PS: it's good to watch the other Terminator 1~3 before watching this... Not really related but there's some relation in the movie... :p

Airzed is down

I was chilling out in Coffee Bean (CB) Jaya One (J1) right now with my friend in a super hot day. J1 is a nice place to hang out during weekend... We bought ourselves drinks, sat down and enjoying our drinks. I was trying to connect to the internet to update my blog... so i walked over to the counter

Me: Execuse me. Can i get the password for the internet from you?

CB staff: Sorry sir, our airzed is down today. Maybe you could try using the internet from Wendy next door.

Me: Okay, let me try... (walk back to my table and try to connect)

Frenz: What happen?

Me: The internet is not working... i need to use Wendy's connection. Hopefully it's fast enough.

Frenz: how now? we need to move to another place?

Me: See whether i could connect to Wendy. Otherwise i will demand the money back or voucher from CB on not delivered the internet services.

Frenz: hmmm...

Me: why?

Frenz: Nothing...

I selected the Wendy's connection ... it's okay and I managed to connect to the internet. If not Wendy's connection i will have to make a complaint ... So now, how reliable is Airzed... i used to have Airzed a/c long time back, due to the amount that i need to pay vs the connection quality... It's definitely not worth the value. I cancelled it after 2 months of subscription... It's quite sad until today they never seems like having any improvement... sigh!

Beware of April Fool's Virus

I saw this news about the year 2009 April Fools Virus called Conficker. It has took away millions of computers life in the commercial and residential... this was scary as it will destroy almost every network, clog the network traffic in the world... So i done some research of what is Conficker Worms ? I googles and wiki to find out more of this worms....

According to the Wikipedia, the Conficker Worms
Conficker, also known as Downup, Downadup and Kido, is a computer worm that surfaced in October 2008 and targets the Microsoft Windows operating system.[1] The worm exploits a previously patched vulnerability in the Windows Server service used by Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 Beta, and Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta.[2] The worm has been unusually difficult for network operators and law enforcement to counter because of its combined use of advanced malware techniques.[3][4]
Although the origin of the name "conficker" is not known with certainty, Internet specialists and others have speculated that it is a German portmanteau fusing the term "configure" with "ficken", the German word for "fuck."[5] Microsoft analyst Joshua Phillips describes "conficker" as a rearrangement of portions of the domain name 'trafficconverter.biz'.[6]

So are you using Microsoft Windows operating system... Just beware of the Conficker Worms. I'm a bit worry as i don't know whether this worm will also attack the Apple Leopard X operation system?

UPDATE: Important! please read on how the virus transfered .... jonzz... thanks for the information.

Flash Flood in KL again... Where is our Smart Tunnel?

I was so disappointed and shocked to realize that the massive traffic jam this evening was caused by a flash flood in downtown KL reported by Malaysian Insider dated March 03 2009...

Picture from The News Strait Time

I was stuck in the traffic for about 2.5 hours after attending MSC Malaysia Pre-Seed Fund Programme @ MSC cybernet hall, Plaza Sentral. Bahija and I stranded in the traffic from KL Sentral until Jalan Ipoh... The car only moved inch by inch... hehehe.... walking even faster than driving ... So, we were wondered what had happened to KL city... ??????? .... Well, after checking with all our friends and we found out that there were a severe flash flood in downtown... Sigh! Sigh! Sigh!

So, Where is our world well known Smart Tunnel which famous for its duel usage ... flood and traffic... Today marked another big questions mark from all the residence of Kuala Lumpur... how useful is our lovely 1.887 billion "Smart Tunnel"... The residences of KL had suffered for at least 2 hours jam from their work place back to their home after a 3 hours of heavy rain... Is the Smart Tunnel put on usage to flow the excess water out from KL downtown... errrrrr... I doubt so :p

No Money! No Yellow Man...

Whenever you hear about this song, what come to your mind???

I follow... I follow... I follow...
I will follow you
Follow you wherever you may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep me away
Yada Yada Yada...

The yellow man was following me in and out for the past one year. I signed up and paid the yellow man to follow me with the post paid plan initially... but recently due to i always travel outside the country and not in Malaysia most of the time. I have decided to switch to Pre-Paid plan. I still have yellow man following me in and out everyday. Weeeeee!

Guess what? I was in The Curve today, surfing net at the same time texting my friends. Suddenly, my text could not be sent... So, I checked the balance and it shown RM0.00... And my Yellow Man just ran away... *sob sob*. Yellow Man, where are you? hehehe... Yellow Man is such money minded and no longer follow me since i was no money... :(

Anyway, I was walking around The Curve try to get the top up card for my phone... unfortunately i could not get any within the building ... Sigh! I tried 7 Eleven @ The Curve, a Nokia phone shop, could not find the IT center... I was no luck at all. At the end, i walked over to Tesco and visited the yellow man agency to get one new yellow man to follow me. After the transaction, I got my yellow man following me again... hurray!

No Money! No Yellow Man

Sony PS3 - What is great about it?

I'm not a gamer myself neither do i a user of PS2... last week when i was having dinner with Sbanboy. He told me that 80GB latest PS3 is going to launch in One-U and there will be lots of people planning to camp there for getting this PS3... Hey i did camp to register some of my university popular courses but camp to get a gaming machine... errrr... I don't know... for me i'll not do it :-p

Anyway, after hearing about PS3 will be launching in One-U ... I did some research on PS3... what is so great about it? I went to Wikipedia and what i found ....

A major feature that distinguishes the PlayStation 3 from its predecessors is its unified online gaming service, the PlayStation Network,[6] which contrasts with Sony's former policy of relying on game developers for online play.[7] Other major features of the console include its robust multimedia capabilities,[8] connectivity with the PlayStation Portable,[9] and its use of a high-definition optical disc format, Blu-ray Disc, as its primary storage medium.[10] The PS3 was also the first Blu-ray 2.0-compliant Blu-ray player on the market.[11]

Now i know why all my gaming friends are so excited to own a PS3... and i will also lost some of the hangout friends due to this... Thanks Sony for taking away some of my friends from me... hehehe... why i say so ... because they will be spending most of their time in the virtual networking instead of go out to Starbucks, Tony Roma or TGIF etc... *Sad Sad*... :-(

Anyway, should i also get one unit myself so that i could join the gang and meet my friends again in the virtual world... or just stay out from this PS3 macine... What do you think?

Anyway, here you go the events and launching venue

New Apple iPhone - 3G included

Finally the new Apple iPhone 3G is out in US... and it's USD199 for 8GB and USD299 for 16GB. Anyone is traveling to US soon? Can help to get one ah :->

So what is the difference from the old iPhone?
* Apple claims that the new 3G connection will be roughly 2.8 times as fast as the Edge wireless connection on the original iPhone.
* The iPhone 3G will also feature support for GPS hardware, a curved all-plastic backing and a flush headphone jack rather than the recessed jack that limited accessory options with the original iPhone.
* Apple plans to drop the price on the 16GB iPhone 3G to $299, while the 8GB iPhone will cost $199, roughly one third of the price for the handset on its release last June.

Egg Piercer

What is this?
This is an egg piecer. This tool will protect the egg from cracking whenever you boiled it. I did this experiment with the result shown in the picture

The egg on the left i used the egg piercer and the egg on the right i was not using the egg piercer.

How to use it?
Place the egg vertically on the egg piercer and press the button to pierce the egg. Make sure the egg has been pierced.

I like this tool so much as i don't need to place salt while boiling the egg (this is the traditional way). Moreover it's so easy and looks nice... I'm still have not come across this tool in Malaysia. Maybe you could get it from outside the country :->
