New Fitness First Functional workout Area

Everyday @ 6pm, a functional workout session is held here and lots of core gym goer participate with energetic workout body... Each session has one facilitator whom setup a few stations for the participants to rotate to workout. The participant can choose which station to start with... If not mistaken the participant has to workout in the particular station for a minute. When the bell rings, they rotate to another station.

CoreBag
My Personal Trainer (PT) is using this for our training session on Saturday morning
It's not a handbag like Couch, LV etc, not a tote bag, not a plastic bag, not environmental bag that you can handle your grocery. So what is Core Bag?
Are you ready for me to review CoreBag... A new bag in the world that you can build your muscle, lost fat and workout your abs. 6 packs? Hmmm.... you may try ;-)

TZ's Unhealthy period
Saturday and Sunday was away from City of Potholes to Penang... No gym in Penang that can take TZ's membership. Fitness First closed down already.
Monday, Oct 14th 2014 - Attending MBA class again until 10pm. It was too late to go to gym.
In addition, TZ felt hungry after the class and drove over to McD @ Plaza Mont Kiara for a snack... Errr... not really snack but a quarter pounder set dinner. Oops~

On going to TRX 45 mins Circuit Class by Jacq Ng
5:15pm was the TRX class by Jacq Ng. I quickly changed to my exercise attire, went to the front desk for registration, walked over to the group exercise main studio. Jacq was there preparing for the class. He actually saw me looking at the board earlier.
He was surprised that i changed so quickly and headed to his class. BTW, i was surprised as he addressed me by my full name. Wow~ how you know my full name? After some thought, i think he knew my full name is because he is the Personal Training Manager in 1MK and i have signed up for so many PT sessions with his team. So, should not have any surprise he knew me by name eh~ :-)
Back to TRX, it was a circuit class and Jacq being a pleasant and encouraging facilitator. He has made the class very enjoyable, 45 mins passed so quickly and we really have a good workout since options were given to us. In additional, he encouraged us to listen to our own body... Some of the exercise i just have to forgo since i have lost some momentum/stamina without going to gym for 4 days.You must be thinking how could this happen, but for a core gym person like me... it makes a different kub~
For those people who don't know what is TRX and never see TRX, here is a video clip...

NO GYM DAYs
Thursday - No gym
After work, went to Grapes in Cyberjaya with Colleagues for Happy Hour before heading to airport to pick up my sister and sent her to the hotel. Too late for gym and i didn't not bring my clothing with me.
Friday - No gym
Wanted to hit the gym at 4:30pm but ended up the rain was coming and didn;t want to get wet, so decided to skip gym and went out dinner with my parent and le sister.
Saturday - No gym
Went for lunch with parents and le sister in Sukiya, planned to hit the gym after dropping them back to my condo. Ended up Dad suggested to head over to VW to have a test drive on Polo and Jetta. So gym didn't happen due to too rush for me as we have planned to have dinner at port klang. Sigh~
Sunday - No gym
Had brunch with my friend came back for holiday from Scotland. Initially, i have planned to hit the gym after the brunch but ended up sitting in Tous Les Jours, Bintang Walk for the whole afternoon until sister called for dinner. Quickly sent my friend back to pick up his car and headed home...
Total 4 days of NO GYM day... Oops~ am i getting fat?

500 reps exercise
Me: Nope~ Why you say I insane?
Friend : You do hundreds reps of each exercise... Chin up, Push Up, Dip, Shoulder pull, Bicep curl etc...
Me : Hehehe... that's one of the training my PT ask me to do in order to get nice upper body.
Friend : Oh Really?
Me : Yes~
Friend : I will try...
Me : Don't try... Just do it?
That's was Friend A chatting with me via Phone...
Ex-colleagues: Hey TZ, long time didn;t see you in gym... thought you quit
Me: Hahaha... i quit? *inside me --> You quit also i will not quit; LoL
Ex-colleagues: You work out very hard recently. Your upper body getting nicer.
Me: Thank you. Yup~ I kind of work out hard recently. Workout 500 reps program designed by my PT.
Ex-colleagues: what is 500 reps exercise?
Me: It's you do 100 reps for 5 different exercises within 1~1.5hrs.
Ex-colleagues: Interesting, so what you do?
Me: I do chin up, push up, dip... blah blah blah
Ex-colleagues: Wow~ *Jaws dropped*
This was me bumped into Ex-colleague @ Fitness First - Paradigm Mall
Colleague in US: TZ how many push up can you do in 1 mins?
Me: Maybe 40-50... Not sure cause i didn't really count. What's about?
Colleague in US: I challenged the team over in US to start with how many push up can they do in 1 min. And will track the improvement every month.
Me: Oh~ Sound interesting, Can i join in?
Colleague in US: Certainly you can...
Me: Will let you know the number eh~.
** Next Day
Colleague in US: TZ, what is your baseline number?
Me: 53.
Colleagues in US: Wow~
Me: Not really a good one.. Can be improved... hehehe...
That's my Colleague in US challenged me on how many push up i could do in ONE MINUTE. How many you can do?
Me: Hey Dude~ Gym today?
Gym Dude: Nope~ Got stuck in the pile of work @ office. Still having meeting in a short while.
Me: Oh no~ poor you.
Gym Dude: Yup... a bit emo now cause cannot go to gym. Body slowly out of shape jor
Me: You must be kidding. Dude like you with a nice body... out of shape a bit it's okay.
Gym Dude: You haven't seen me for months. My body has out a shape a bit.
Me: Don't belief... you are so conscious yet you say body out of shape, don't think so...
Gym Dude: How you know my body still in shape since we haven't met for months
Me: Anyway, dude we will gym together when you are free eh~
Gym Dude: Okay~.
That's my once a while gym buddy via whatsapp...

Can you reserve a gym locker? @ Fitness First
B: I thought no one is using this locker
A: Don't you see there is a set of Towel in the locker?
B: You mean the gym towel? I though the other person just forgot to return.
A: It's mine that i left inside... Can you get another locker?
B: *shut the locker door and proceed to the toilet*
A: *shouted @ B* Can you understand what i meant?
B: How could you use the Towel to reserve the locker?
A: Are you going to give it back to me? (B has placed all the stuff and got changed to his gym clothing)
Me: I'm going to leave right now. You may use this locker.
B: Do you mind using that locker instead?
A: Okay~ *unhappy*
I believe A has placed the towel and got out from the locker room to do something... not sure why he don't lock the locker. Maybe the card was not working...
So, can you reserve a gym locker using the Gym Towel? Why in the first place B go to take out the gym Towel and get the locker. (there is the only upper deck locker available). Maybe B have not choice to get the one.

Gym membership - What is your goal?
"Which gym are you going?"
"Fitness First. u?"
"Oh... cool. Mine is Celebrity Fitness"
"I didn't join any chain. Mine is xxx on top of the shop houses"
"Wow~ there is a hardcore gym eh~"

So, what would you like to achieve when you join the gym?
Different people has different goal to achieve in the gym. Some people engaging the Personal Trainer to strength their stamina and core, work hard and hoping to get the result fast... But some people just go to the gym to enjoy the environment, walking around and chit chat. This bunch are the happy go lucky... Minimum exercise~ ...There are group whom like to stalk people from behind to see what others are working out... These people just spent most of the time walking around the gym, and they are not serious about working out hard.... Maybe their goal is not workout but stalk out...No point to join the gym eh~
I saw a very humorous way of representing the gym members inside the gym...

Missing Rack in locker

There was one time in The Curve, i saw one aunty just holding the small towel and left the gym... hey come on aunty~ you have paid RM200+ for gym membership, don't tell me you could not even afford to purchase a towel from the shop. What a joke eh~

As usual i finished my work at around 4pm and headed to gym for my Personal Training Session. After the PT session, i usually sit on the couch and cool myself down. Of cause started playing with my phone. Answering FB updates. All of the sudden i gotten this picture via Whatsapp...

Buff, Lean and Flexi
- Six Packs
- Strong legs and bigger lower body (someone comment my upper body was too big to match with my lower body. So sad eh~ )
- Have a nice cut on the arms. Those drooling arm.
- Weight me with the electronic weighing machine that shown the % of fat etc.
- Planned exercises with total body workout to be the benchmark of the first day.

300 vs 500 calories
"If no training, you have to burn at least 500 calories Cardio... "
"If training, we need to burn 300 calories on Cardio... "
So what cardio exercises that i could do during non - training day. I'm fond of RPM, Easy Steps... Definitely not a fan of Body Combat as i felt more like dancing that beating.
Okay, now i started to track on my calories burn per exercise, so i could get rid of those stubborn fat and be like the Korean famous weather representative guy... RAIN...
Hmmm... Can i achieve this?
