A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens @ KLPAC

First of all, I would like to thank Bahija for inviting me to watch the A Christmas Carol @ KLPAC on Wednesday nite. It was a nice play by a group of local drama artist... I came to know that "A Christmas Carol" is one of the Charles Dicken's story.... errrr.... Charles reminded me of Oliver Twist, Great Expectation, The tales of the two cities etc... And a boring thick books like our Oxford and Webster Dictionary... hehehe :p

Some mindset has been shifted of Charles Dickens's novel... I didn't know that Charles Dickens's novel could be so lively when come to play... I  would like to give the team a big kudoz... BTW, i thought i will sleep through the play which i expected before i went to the play. But i was so excited to follow the story till the end... :p

KLPAC @ Sentul West

Too bad i couldn't take any shots within the hall... otherwise i would snap a few nice shots to show all of you... the lighting, the clothing and the simplicity of the decoration of the stage has made this play ... simple but fulfill the spirit of Xmas ...  I tried to google and came across this only clip which the team used it for press preview.

Overall, the play was good and i envy the small boy's braveness and his attractive voice .... he sung solo and it was so touching too :p It's was a 2 hrs worth of enjoying the play and of cause all the Xmas songs too... what a unforgettable Xmas play i had... errrrr... made me even missed Canada :p

Our culture is different, so our X'mas flavour & mood is behind time always. Never mind, with your support, they will succeed. Why can't Malaysians be Malaysians without having to ape the West? It is all about advertising again.... Slap my mouth! Piak!
