It's actually located Golden Mile tower parking... so it over look the view of the new stadium and the eye of Singapore with the side view of marina bay sand...

Great place to have an evening booze booze and chat chat... My friend has a nap too. Oops~
We spent about an hour plus and headed to Arab street later~

Sembawang White Bee Hoon Restaurant @ Singapore

Believe or Not people just queue up for food in Singapore. One of my friend queued up 2 hours just to have this...

叉烧饱
Cha Siew Pau

When she told me, I was like... why? I still can't believe people will queue up 2 hours for a 饱 ...

Another friend of mine told me this Sembawang White Bee Hoon Restaurant also need to queue for 2-3 hours... My first reaction was I can skip it... No way i will queue for food. It's really pack if you see the picture that adapted from Juicyfingers

Picture from Juicyfingers
Guess what? My friend bought me to taste this White Bee Hoon in this restaurant last Sunday. Of course it was not as pack as what the picture shown in Juicyfingers blog. Otherwise, you will not see me eating in the shop. Neither do my friend who also no patient to wait for food.

Hazy day, Singaporean chosen not to go out. Blast aircon to get rid of the burning smell. Maybe this is one of the reason why this restaurant lost its SIGNATURE... QUEUE~

The food is very nice and i don't mind to pay a visit in the future.

Halloween night 4 @ Universal Studio is back!!!...

Have you been to the Halloween night @ Universal Studio?... If you haven't been, i would recommend you to do it at least once.

I went for the Halloween night 3 @ Universal Studio last year... I think i didn't blog about my encounter. But it's a very impressive horror night @ Universal Studio. Anyway, it was very scary and the environment setup as if it is real. The sound, the smell, the lighting and the decoration. Not to mention, the people that put on make up, walked around you and all of the sudden, they were besides you... Muhahaha~SCARE?!!!

Unfortunately, this year i don't have any available weekend in October to go down to Singapore. All my weekends are filled with something that i need to accomplish. My routine, my mama routine, my MBA classes, my MBA exams, my weekend getaway but not Singapore, blah blah blah... So no time for Halloween Night #4 @ Universal Studio in 2014 but i'm going to plan for 2015. See you next year eh~

Anyway, let's watch the complete walk through about this year Halloween Night #4...

Excited to go?
Scare to go?

On planning how to spend the long weekend

Oct 3rd - Oct 6th 2014 is a long weekend in Malaysia and Singapore. So, my travel buddy from Singapore will be coming to Malaysia for spending a long weekend with my friends and I.

So as a host, what should i plan for this long weekend? I have a few options and got a quick discussion with my friends

Option #1:
2 day 1 night in Ipoh + remaining day in Kuala Lumpur
  • We will drive up to Ipoh and visit the surrounding area (e.g. Gua Tempurung etc), then spent a night in Ipoh happening downtown booze area. Next day come back to Kuala Lumpur.
  • Day 3 will chill out in Kuala Lumpur

Option #2:
3 days 2 night Pulau Ketam, Klang area, Kuala Lumpur downtown
  • Day trip to Pulau Ketam to visit the fishing village and have seafood lunch, evening chill in cafe @ Klang
  • Be a tourist in Kuala Lumpur for 2 day 1 night including visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur and booze booze at Changkat Bukit Bintang at night.
Option #3:
Staycation in downtown Kuala Lumpur for 3day 2night.
  • Find a nice hotel and staycate in downtown Kuala Lumpur. Enjoying food around Kuala Lumpur and booze booze at night
This are the 3 options that we have in mind... We tried not to go too far from Kuala Lumpur due to foresee the highway will be jammed up with people traveling on the long weekend.

So, any suggestion?

Singapore Formula One

Singapore F1 is a very unique F1 as it held in the middle of the night and they close partial of the roads in Singapore to become the F1 venue. So, if you are in some of the buildings in downtown, you may view the F1 from the top...

Snapshots from http://www.singaporegp.sg
When i visited the Singapore GP page, I saw this stunning design and decided to snapshot it and keep it in TZ-Photo since they are going to change after the F1. To me this was a well design piece of artwork that brought out the features of Singapore at the background... Don't you think it's nice?

Anyway, back to the Singapore F1... Anyone here went for the event? I noticed every year they have some famous artist in their grand concert, not sure who was there this year >.<

I'm not a big fan of Formula One. Moreover, to go to this event in Singapore will cost me a hand and a leg. So i just have to say "PASS"

If you have been to this event in Singapore, can you share with us what is your experience?

Have you heard about Singapore Safari Zoo Run?  I didn't take part in 2013... this year my friend in Singapore has signed me up for this run... I decided to run 6km and it's a fun run. No stressed but fun... :p

Waiting for my turn to run
This is my first time running in the zoo... A different experience especially have to bare with the stared from different animals during the run. And not many cheer from the organizers cause they have passed their cheering job to the host... :p

If given a choice to choose an animal to run with, who would you choose?

A marketeer?
A sleepy Lion?
An Elephant?
An ostrich?
A mighty white Tiger?
Have you made up your mind? Are you ready to run with your chosen animal? Hehehe... I won't tell me your choice but please do not ask me to choose Turtle eh~

Getting ready for the run
It's time to hit the starting line... On your mark get set GO GO GO~

Waiting for Flag off for 6km Fun Run
Due to great response, the organizer has broken us into few groups for flag-off. I was in Wave #3...  This is a fun run... I spent most of my time taking picture of the animal along the way... we passed by Night Safari and day zoo. I managed to see the Night Safari in daytime ;-)

Come come come~ Take picture...Common word that you will heard most of the time... Fun Eh~

I finished the whole 6km in 1.5 hours... longer than my 10km run. Oops~ But anywhere i gotten my finisher medal too... Yay~ Yay~

The legend of Hercules...

My Singaporean friend has suggested to watch the legend of Hercules last Saturday... she was looking forward for the Hercules' body... Is Hercules having a nice body?

Adapted from Wikimedia
Since I'm not a regular movie goer, most of the movie i haven't watch so i'm okay with any of the movies. We decided to watch it in Cineleisure Cathay Orchard Road after our Twin Tower Sushi lunch.

The Legend of Hercules as a whole was not that great, storyline was sucks and nothing but the muscular body...

Adapted from http://www.justjared.com/
Friend A : The movie is so so only. The storyline sucks.
Friend B : What do you expect? Is all about body
Friend A : Initially the body is nice but after a while, the body was nothing great about...
Friend B : Body was the selling point...
Me : hmmm....

Do you think so?

If i would rate this movie, it would be 3/10... which 10 is the best. So nothing much to hooha about. Maybe for some ladies out there the body might be what they are looking forward to... LoL :p

PS: after the movie, my friend keeps asking me to aim for getting a built like Hercules... Hmmm... i really have no comment~

Nihon Mura Express @ Cathay Leisure - Singapore

Sushi feast for SGD1.50 per plate in Nihon Mura Express has drawn the attention of my friends and I to eat like a gluttony ;-) As the conveyor belt moving... our eyes were moving to the dish we wanna to pick up...

Conveyor belt
As many many plates passed us but we didn't see the Sake Sashimi (Raw Salmon). So we ordered from the staff 4 plates of Sake Sashimi. They combined the 4 plates into one.

Sake Sashimi
We ate many more different dishes... Chawamushi... Miso Soup etc... So, the tower was in progress when i snapshot this...

One tower was coming up
As time passed... the stack of empty dishes were coming up... We reached a point that we could not eat anymore. That's it. Let me introduce the Twin Tower...

So can anyone guess how much is the total bill?

Run for your lives Asia @ Singapore : Survivor and Zombie in Action

Was attending the Survivor run and being a Zombie last Saturday night in Singapore. A friend of mine has signed me up as a Survivor and Zombie. We were posted in the station near The Fullerton Bay Hotel...

Picture captured by my friend
imaging we were at the central business district of Singapore. Luckily, I never bumped into anyone that i know over there. I didn't bring my phone with me so my friend snapshot this picture to show where we were...

Let's roll the gallery and see how the zombie in action...

It's was a good experience with mud, dirt and heavy rainfall when we were running for our lives earlier as the survivors...  due to the heavy rainfall, we do not have any picture of survivors part of the run. Sad~ Anyway,
at the end of the day, we became zombie and snatched for other people lives... Survivors --> Zombies voluntarily... LoL

On visiting MacRitchie Trail, Singapore

A lot of people have the same mindset of myself... when we mentioned Singapore, this is the image that comes up to our mind...

Guess what? Singapore has lots more to offer... The MacRitchie Trail is a very nice natural reserve park which covered a very wide area.

MacRitchie Trails Map
We decided to go with the Orange Color trail which is 7.0km return. This trail is not a difficult trail as mentioned in the map... Interesting enough after 200m, we walked into the jungle like path...

The Trail
Along the trail, we are greeted with a small stream parallel with the trail. No fishes were detected...

The Stream

The Trail

After 3.1km, we finally came to the gate of the HSBC TreeTop Walk. The main attraction of MacRitchie Trail.

Gate to the HSBC TreeTop Walk
It's a one way to the other sides... Meaning you could not walk back to this end. The exit is over the other end of the TreeTop walk.

TreeTop Walk
From the TreeTop Walk, we managed to see the MacRitchie Reservoir... Due to the hot sun... we took a few shots and left the place and back to the trail...

Can you see the MacRitchie Reservoir?
We managed to finished the whole 7km trail within 2.5-3 hrs. The recommended time to complete this trail is 3-4 hours. Hahaha... we still consider Fit :p

More pictures @ A picture A day.
