We decided to meet at One Utama to have a quick bite and went all the way up to Score @ The Roof. It's a very nice sport bar...

The Moon Bar Kuala Lumpur

Last Friday, my friend invited me to join him for dinner with couple of mutual friends at The Moon Bar Kuala Lumpur. It's a restaurant and bar. After 9pm, the restaurant turned into bar with the Jazz performance. We were there for dinner and i ordered the Pork Burger... Yes~ they served Pork dishes.

The pork burger is yummy~ We have some cocktail during the performance... Enjoyed the performance... Too bad one of my friend left before the performance. We stayed until around 1am and decided to go back home to sleep as i have to wake up early morning for my Personal Training Session.

It's was a good experience with mud, dirt and heavy rainfall when we were running for our lives earlier as the survivors...  due to the heavy rainfall, we do not have any picture of survivors part of the run. Sad~ Anyway,
at the end of the day, we became zombie and snatched for other people lives... Survivors --> Zombies voluntarily... LoL

On watching LIVE performance @ Alexis Ampang

My newly known friend has arranged a night out at the Alexis Ampang for a LIVE performance by Bihzhu from Penang.

We had our dinner at Alexis Ampang... Dinner was so so and to me the Alexis burger was not that great. The Fatboy, Chillis and TGIF burger is way way better than Alexis burger. I should have order their Asian food ;-)

 At around 10 something, the LIVE performance started and the performer started singing all kind of songs including Reggae, American blues, Jazz and one kiddie songs Xiao Bai Chuan... The performance was very good.

The performance lasted around 2 hours included the break. I managed to buy her first album and gotten her autography... There are 6 songs in total, the song i like most is the Xiao Bai Chuan.

White House Down - July 4th movie

"Tell me how much time i have... "

My friend whatsapp me and asked me whether i was freed for a movie last night. I asked him what movie that he wanna to watch. He told me White House Down. I have no idea what is the storyline but i guess it should be those July 4th movie. The movie only cost us RM8.00 per pax because of Wednesday night is the cheap movie night... So it's value for money :)


As usual, i don't wanna to be the spoiler and get scolded by those movie fanatic whom haven't watch the movie. But my two cents is worth to watch if you like action movie.

Fat One Steamboat

I was having dinner with my mom, uncle, aunty and cousin at Fat One Steamboat, Sunway. We arrived around 5:30pm. Luckily we arrived early so we managed to sit inside the aircon zone. Our table was located in the between the seafood area and the plate. So everyone went to take the plate and round over to the seafood area.

As you can see from the picture, the whole restaurant was full house and the amount of crowd were very huge until you would be surprise how much food being taken away within minutes. Luckily, the food was replenished in swift manner.

BTW, the variety of the food and its amount is more than YUEN Buffet. The only constraint that this buffet place has is that they could not have any business from Muslim as this steamboat shop carried PORK.

In summary, if you like seafood, this is the place to visit and taste the fresh seafood. Moreover, all you can eat SEAFOOD. It's way way better than YUEN buffet.

Friday Booze @ Morgan Fields Pavilion KL

My ex-colleague just got back from Taiwan for a few weeks break before her job starts. She whatsapp me and asked me to organize/contact the other two colleagues of us to chill out during happy hour on Friday night. I added all the invitees to the whatsapp, kicked start the conversation as a group and arranged with them. At the end, we decided to meet in Pavillion Kuala Lumpur.

During all the whatsapping, we didn't decide where we wanna drink and snack in Pavilion. We kind of agree to walk around and go with the flow. We came across Morgan Fields which offered 3pints of Hoegaarden or 3 Pint of 1664 Blanc beer for RM80 nett. So we decided to bunk in Morgan Fields.

Looking at the menu, the sharing ribs and chicken platter has attracted us to order. The Ribs in the menu kept sending the signal... ORDER ME! ORDER ME!...

The drink was good no doubt... it's Hoegaarden. The platter was yummilious too. Chat and eat then we only realized we ate a lot. We decided to have 2 round of different beer, ordered 1664 Blanc for our 2nd round.

Ballet Under The Stars (Giselle) - Singapore 2013

Yesterday, I received a whatsapp from my friend in Singapore when i was doing my preparation for conferencing at night.

In the afternoon,

Friend A: It's ballet under the stars on July 27th - featuring "Giselle" - you wanna come?

After few minutes, Friend B whatsapp me...
Friend B: Are you coming to SG in July? Friend A wanna watch Giselle - Ballet under the stars
Me: Okay. Then I will go to Singapore every month :p
Friend B: No Problem.

So i reply back to Friend A that i'm okay for the ballet under the stars
Me : Okay
Friend A: Yay!!! I go book tickets.

At night,  40 mins before the conference.
As I was looking at the air ticket to Singapore on that weekend in July. I asked Friend A...

Me: Hey the ballet is on Saturday?
Friend A: Yes!
Me: Once you confirm i will book the air ticket eh~
Friend A: Friend B super on lah - he bought tickets liao!

SkyBar @ Traders Hotel

Yup! the bar is high up in the sky...

The famous and popular Skybar is located at 33th floors of Traders Hotel KLCC. The bar has become an icon or a must visit place when you are in  Kuala Lumpur.

SkyBar located at 33th floor of Trader Hotel. It started with a simple pool bar like other poolside bar in Kuala Lumpur. If you look into the picture below carefully, you would be able to see some people swimming in the pool. Once sundown... the Skybar will turn into a live bar with nice music and booze. Not to mention the spectacular view of Petronas Twin Tower as the backdrop of the bar which has made this place a very nice place to chill and hangout with friends after work or weekend.

Finally i figured out and brought her to this prestigious bar in Kuala Lumpur.  We order foods and drinks, sitting facing outside, waiting for the spectacular moment...

ONE Fighting Championship @ Malaysia

I was all set to attend the fighting event...

 As everyone know my birthday has just passed 5 days ago. In order to celebrate my full birthday, my colleague has bought a VIP ticket in ONE Fighting Championship @ Putra Indoor Stadium Bukit Jalil.

It's my first time to attend this kind of event. It was a bit of excitement for me... anyway, it was a good experience.

Each of us gotten 2 free drinks token which could exchange SF Coffee, Juices and Water. BTW, there was a counter selling TIGER BEER for RM9.50 per can.

After reaching the VIP area, i was excited to see the ring/stage... It was amazingly beautiful with all the lightings...

Prometheus @ TGV Club Sunway Pyramid

Last Saturday night or should i say last Sunday... why? Cause the movie starts @ 12:30am.

Last Sunday early morning, I was watching the Prometheus with my friends @ TGV Club Sunway Pyramid. The movie ticket is RM25 per pax. Yup! it's expensive so i always have a thought that it's overrated and not value for money.

Anyway, the different between the TGV Club and the normal TGV cinema is 

1. No need to line up for tickets. 
2. No need to standing around the entrance waiting for the number to be light up. 
3. No need to line up for food and drinks. Just order and the food/drink will be served.
4. More room for leg and the seat is more comfortable. 
5. The price of cause is more expensive, it's double the normal TGV cinema.
6. No kiddos shouting "mama this, papa that"... I wondered how much is the ticket for kiddo.

When we arrived, the cinema was not ready... We were waiting at the designated lounge. It's so quiet. No wonder my friend told me after i tried it first time, i will like the TGV Club... It's true i love it already...

Okay enough of TGV Club... back to the Prometheus... I don't really enjoy the movie as i don't really like those movie with disgusting and darker scenes like the previous movie Aliens#1,2,3... so on. So the Prometheus is about the same scene as Aliens. I don't want to be a spoiler, i know a lot of you might not have watched this movie...

I got mixed comments on this movie from friends before and after i watched, so not sure whether it's recommended or not. Anyhow, this is just not my cup of tea... the only thing i enjoyed is the graphic... not to mention the nice TGV Club environment :p

Brotzeit @ Mid Valley

Two Friday ago, I was having the dinner with SK and Anton in Mid Valley. I didn't know there is a nice German Pub that served nice porky dishes... Sorry guys, non-halal stuff. So please do not proceed if you not into this kind of food ;-)

Porky food outlet actually targeted the niche market, so it's not easy to get a nice porky place. It happened that Anton got to know this place which he claimed that lots of bloggers have reviewed and given this place a TWO THUMBS up a.k.a LIKE in Facebook.

Brotzeit @ Midvalley is the German restaurant that we visited, we were enjoying ourselves so much with the nice porky platter for sharing... Buy 1 free 1 alcohol drinks (Vodka, Gin, ... etc). Of cause the company with two of my close friends :p

@Home - recovering from Sickness

I was in the middle of recovering from Sickness... sexy voice. My dad said i was having too much fun and no enough rest. My mom said i was eating too much and not drinking enough water. Anyway, i think both of my parents are right... 

Today, I'm a good boy staying at home sleep for the whole day, drink lots of water. The voice improved but the coughing still killing me... the nose still blocked. Anyway, it's much better than yesterday... So now i need to have a nice sleep tonight and see whether i would be able to go to work tomorrow.

Wanna to know how's the party went over in Malacca on the last day of the year 2011?

Drink... Drunk...Dance... Drugs(hmm... not sure have or not)

BTW, we met this couple from Netherlands and Ireland. They are touring around Southeast Asia and have visited couple of countries before Malaysia. This was their very first countdown outside their country... they were standing beside our table and i strokes the conversation, invited them to countdown together with us. :)

Arthur's Day celebration in Malaysia

This Friday is Arthur's day celebration. Lot's of pubs and bars has put up the Guinness offer i.e. drink Guinness get T-shirts / shirts free... So, one of the bar @ Sunway Giza has posted an Ad on the offer... the offer has started on Sept 18th and ends on Sept 22nd 2011. So go and get your T-shirt and Shirts eh~

Anyway, one of my friend has written in his status on asking around who wanna to go to the Arthur's Day celebration @ Speed City, Kuala Lumpur. As i'm curious and google this celebration and all i got is this poster...

Anyway, in a small print @ the center of the poster (if you can see), i realized this event is by exclusive invitation only. Hmmm... i wondered my friend might have gotten more than one exclusive invitation and he's asking around to have some companion to go for the celebration. Unfortunately, I have to drive to Taiping on the next day. So i think i would pass for this round. Will join you next time eh~

Mobility business

Portability, mobility and flexibility are what 21st century business looking for on selling their product and services. Recently, you might see lots of  mobile van selling food and drinks in the corner of the street in Kuala Lumpur... But there is one mobility business which will NEVER appear in Kuala Lumpur.

Do you know how to do bar juggling?

Do you know how to make a nice cocktails? Are you an experience bartender? Do you have your own signature drinks? If yes, you may wanna to venture to this mobility business. What business is that?

Recently, when i visited Bangkok, Thailand. I came across a very unique business which i saw almost every corner of streets in this big city.

Have you seen this mobility bar @ any other cities in the world? I have visited so many cities but this is my first time i came across  this kind of bar.

This mobility bar is equipped with attractive lighting and music together with a few comfortable bar chairs.... Basically, it tags along the with the stall that sell food by the street.

Unfortunately, this business concept will NOT work in our lovely country Malaysia. Why? If you remember the case which selling alcohol @ 7 eleven, the lovely government has politicalize and made  a big hoo haa on it... So, how can they allowed the mobility bar to appear in the street of Kuala Lumpur?

Anyway, if you happen to visit Bangkok, Thailand. Do not miss to pay a visit of one of these mobility bar eh~

On drinking cheap long island tea...

Guess how much is one long island tea in Bangkok? Oh it's cheap it's really cheap as I drank one in Malaysia acrually I could drink 4 in bangkok. It's around rm11.2 Malaysia ringgit. :) basically can get waster here with lower expenses.

Anyway, I have to say a lot of Malaysian still in the developing mindset which sometime don't even take care of the environment... This is a very sad scene.

One day we should take some picture of before and after the party to see how much rubbish got left over in the event location. Another one more thing that i noticed was the event planner did not provide sufficient rubbish bin for people to throw those rubbish... So people just simply throw on the floor... throw it to the Flower Pot and so on...

May the year 2011 be the year for us to start saving our environment...

Early Xmas Party @ Mist Club

The Santarina has given out 4 passes to the lucky listener of her show via FlyFM... I bet my friend is a good boy this year. He got the 4 passes for the party organized by FlyFm @ Mist Club Bangsar. I'm also a good boy as i was invited together with two others friends to this party :)

So how's the party?

This is how we party last Saturday with all the free flow drinks (Whiskey + Coke, Vodka + sprite, Beers) from the dispenser counter and the free finger food served by the waiter from table to table... Oops~ I'm hungry now.... Too bad it's too dark, otherwise i will post some food shots to make you hungry too...

and of cause the entertainment from Prema Yin and DJ's...

Followed by all the nice dancing song played by the house DJs... we didn't dance as we were on the patio (the VIP area and not @ the dance floor. It has been such a long time i didn't go to such a party and i felt young again as what my friend said.  >...<

We left the place at about 2am with a little tipsy...
