My newly known friend has arranged a night out at the Alexis Ampang for a LIVE performance by Bihzhu from Penang.

We had our dinner at Alexis Ampang... Dinner was so so and to me the Alexis burger was not that great. The Fatboy, Chillis and TGIF burger is way way better than Alexis burger. I should have order their Asian food ;-)

Short getaway from City of Potholes - Day #2

Day #2 : Singapore - Kuala Lumpur

Morning
Hwa Nam Restaurant - This restaurant specialize in Dim Sum and it's one of the oldest Dim Sum Restaurant in Singapore. The dim sum is not as tasty but it's very traditional.
MacRitchie Trail (HSBC Hanging Bridge) - After breakfast, we headed to the MacRitchie Trail for a 3-4 hours hike at the same time see the HSBC hanging bridge. Why called HSBC hanging bridge, it's the community work of HSBC and the sponsorship from HSBC. By visiting the trail, the perception that i have earlier on Singapore i.e. all concrete no nature. I was wrong, they have natural reserve park too but not as huge as Malaysia. I challenged my Singaporean friend to bring me something which is more unique and not man made. So here i am on the MacRitchie Trail...

Fitness First millenia walk - I gotten my passport but unfortunately not chance to hit the gym. So i used it for pass to the shower facilities. YES~ we went Fitness First to shower before heading for lunch...

Afternoon

MEDZS - a restaurant which has the concept similar to Marche. But this restaurant focus on more Mediterranean food. The best thing is this restaurant sells pork dishes. We have the Pork Affair for our lunch. The food was yummy and we were so full after the meal.

National Museum of Singapore (Princely Treasure from the house of Liechtenstein) - All the valuable paintings are shipped from Liechtenstein Palace. Some of the well known painter like Rembrandt etc. The exhibits are very nice... unfortunately i just got back from Europe. So to me the exhibits are not as many as we can see in Church and Museum at Europe.

East Coast Parkway - This was the last stop before heading back to City of Potholes...  We chill out in One Twenty Six for a booze. After finished our drink, we hit the nearby bicycle rental place. We rented a bicycle to go around East Coast Parkway. It's a very fun and relax by the beach. Headed to Changi Airport around 7:50pm. Took KFC @ Changi Airport.

That's all folks... 2D1N getaway from City of Potholes

Short getaway from City of Potholes - Day #1

My friend has bought the Ballet Under the Stars - Giselle tickets. I was invited to view the ballet while having picnic @ Fort Canning Park, Singapore.

Day #1 : Kuala Lumpur - Singapore (intial arrival time 9:45am | after delay: 11:45am)

Morning
Amazing delayed on the flight to Singapore has set me back for 4 hours. The captain has tried 2 attempts to land in Changi International Airport. Due to the severe thunderstorm. The 2 attempted landing were basically FAILED. The flight ended in JB until the weather was cleared in Changi International Airport.
There were couples of them in the flight were heading to the Phantom of the Opera Matinee Show in Marina Bay Sand. One old couple, the wifey was panic that they could not make it to the Phantom of the Opera. Cool mam... cool....

Afternoon
Science Center - After my friends picked me up @ Changi International Airport Terminal #1, we headed to the National Science Center near Jurong. It has been so long i haven't been to the Science Center. Due to the delay of the flight. The pre-purchased Omni Theather Ticket got burned. Tsk Tsk Tsk.... imagine so many kiddy and science related items to explore and play with... Worth~ We re-purchased the Omni Theater ticket. The IMAX floor to ceiling and half rounded dorm has made everything looks so GIGANTIC.

Night
Giselle (Ballet Under the Stars) - This is the main purpose i traveled down to Singapore. My first experience of watching Ballet outdoor, moreover with picnic style... We have prepared lots of yummy food etc. The ballet was worth to watch and i have gathered another new experience. And a good observation on how people squeeze themselves into a smaller piece of grass.

Fort Canning Hotel - Walked over to Fort Canning Hotel to chill out in their lounge. We had one drinks each and enjoying the quiet environment while waiting others to leave the area. Avoid the jam ;-)

In conjunction of the Despicable Me 2 movie, McD has included the three little yellowish minions in their Happy Meal. Nowadays, the Happy Meal no longer for KIDS only... It's for the young hearted adult whom has the fetish for this cute little things... Everyone seems like talking about the minions in all the social media including Facebook. Rainforest World Music Festival 2012 (RWMF)

I have been talking about going to the Rainforest World Music Festival since decade ago...  Very sad to say i haven't visited the RWMF yet. Last year, i told my Sarawakian friend that i wanna to plan to visit the RWMF this year. Emm.... Nothing happen as i kind of forgot the event until recently i saw this poster.

Picture adapted from RWMF.net
Surprisingly no radio station talking about this event and not much people promoting about it. So, now it's too late for me to get the flight ticket, hotel accommodation and the entrance ticket to the RWMF 2012. I bet there still have the package but it should be costing a bomb... Maybe i should plan in ahead for RWMF 2013 then... Anyone can offer me a stay in Kuching?

BTW, anyone going for RWMF 2012?

@Home - recovering from Sickness

I was in the middle of recovering from Sickness... sexy voice. My dad said i was having too much fun and no enough rest. My mom said i was eating too much and not drinking enough water. Anyway, i think both of my parents are right...

Today, I'm a good boy staying at home sleep for the whole day, drink lots of water. The voice improved but the coughing still killing me... the nose still blocked. Anyway, it's much better than yesterday... So now i need to have a nice sleep tonight and see whether i would be able to go to work tomorrow.

Wanna to know how's the party went over in Malacca on the last day of the year 2011?

Drink... Drunk...Dance... Drugs(hmm... not sure have or not)
BTW, we met this couple from Netherlands and Ireland. They are touring around Southeast Asia and have visited couple of countries before Malaysia. This was their very first countdown outside their country... they were standing beside our table and i strokes the conversation, invited them to countdown together with us. :)

Happy New Year 2012
It's a very happening countdown in the historical city of Malacca... Where would be our next year 2013 countdown place?... Any suggestion.

Do you like this song?

If you like this song, you definitely like this RPM 46... There are more nice song for your workout.

I went to the sneak preview RPM 46 sizzler @ Fitness First The Curve yesterday afternoon. The class were led by Herny and Lilian. It was a nice 45 mins class and i sweat like a pig... ;p I managed to complete the release although it has been long time i went for RPM. This release was not that difficult and it has lots of nice song too

Is this song familiar to you? It's the song for the mountain track i.e. Track 7

I couldn't remember all the track and its song... but that's one song which draw my attention coz Lilian was singing along and i forgot it was which track... This song was a nice song by Kelly Clarkson. I think it's Track 4 if i'm not mistaken.

There's lots more nice song in other tracks... So just go ahead and try out the nice RPM 46 Sizzler. I think it is going to launch in FF in a week time.

Paul, dude too bad you are in US now... Not sure whether when you are back in Malaysia... they still play the RPM 46 sizzler or not... Anyway, enjoy your time in US eh~

my Piano...

If i said i know how to play piano... do you believe? yes or no?.....

Anyway, I was chatting with Medie007 on MSN and he sent me this youtube clip which this guy is playing the song Beautiful by Akon.

By looking @ the clip, I think of my long lost Piano lesson... I started playing piano when i was in primary one. My parent has trained me to listen to classical music since i was still in Kindergarden... so i like quite a number of classical music from Bach era till the modern age etc ... But my favorite composers are Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Beethoven. :)

Along the years, I had learned many pieces of song but mainly classical song... I stopped my piano lesson when i was in Secondary Five... which i got not much time to practice due to my SPM examination. I have no choice but to give up my Piano lesson. It was quite a waste but anyway, i had made a right choice...

It's now remain a chapter in the book of TZ's life... I was not playing piano for nearly a decade plus as i don't have a piano with me now. Anyway, i think playing piano is nice as it could calm a person down and let the person relax himself or herself and enjoy the music...

I was so tempted to move the piano from my parent house to my current place.. so i could pick up the piano again... So, you must be thinking what songs that i usually play... So, here you go some songs that i liked to play during my piano lesson... hehehe... I could not list down all the songs... just selected two to three to let you have a feel...

Turkish March by Mozart

Pour Adeline by Richard Clayderman

Fur Elise by Beethoven

Hehehe.... don't ask me to play the piano now ... I really need time to brush up on playing the piano... my finger no longer as flexible as before which i could easily roaming on top of the piano... Need to get back to groove and practice make perfect...

So, what music instrument are you playing?...
