Confuse!
I woke up this morning and see this view again
KL view in the morning
how i wish i would wake up with this view, Santa, please change the view to this for me...
Both view are from my room... the difference is one from Kuala Lumpur... the other one from Kampala. The KL view came with a huge complimentary of the Duke highway construction noise pollution as early as 8am... Sigh! :-( The Kampala view came with the daily traffic congested noise... horn from the car, people shooting on the street... what can i expect, i'm staying in Kampala downtown. But it's way better than the irritating Duke Highway Construction machinery noise... Ok! enough for the complain of the highway construction now. Let's move on... :p
So, for the past few weeks, when i meet everyone in my social circles... everyone of them was giving me a surprised look when they see me in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Everyone: I thought you have gone back to Uganda. How's the job there?
Me: I will go back next week... i enjoy my job there... It's good exposure...
Everyone: Good! So how's your colleague there, are they friendly?
Me: * Two Thumbs Up from me* I like to work with them and they are bunch of friendly people...(but sometime i think they are slow moving)
Everyone: How about the food?
Me: It's gorgeous... and yummy! (i meant african food but not the internal organ breakfast)
Everyone: So what they eat there?
Me: Their famous staple food is Matoke,(yellowish sticky dish on the left of the picture) national food of Uganda. Steam green bananas with the bananas leaves. Taken together with the peanut sauce and meat. Yummy! (picture shown the typical Ugandan food)
Everyone: So you work from Malaysia or having vacation?
Me: errrrrr.... vacation with no pay. (do i say no pay? Yup don't be surprise... I didn't get my pay while i'm in Malaysia).
Everyone: *Just keep quiet* errrr...
Yada yada yada...... there's lots more on the conversation but i'm lazy to blog about the conversation... In short everyone was so curious of how's African life over the other continent...
When am i going back to Uganda? errrrr... Should be on January 2009 or not going back to Uganda at all... Now everyone know why for the past few days i was No Mood... Blank... and now I'm Confused!
What a confusing Friday for TZ....
