Where the old and new get together...

November 30th 2008 marked a nice sunny Sunday which triggered me to just go out to downtown Kuala Lumpur to have a photography session with one of my friends that i met on the blog... he also a blogger :-p

Anyway, we didn't plan this earlier... i just text him early morning to meet up @ Asia Jaya station and got a train down to Masjid Jamek station. Before our photographing session, we took a heavy early lunch @ Burger King.

Financial district @ the back

Masjid Jamek - oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur

Where the two rivers meet

After taking a few shots near the riverside, we proceed to the merdeka square area... Our first stop, Sultan Abdul Samad building

Sultan Abdul Samad Building in 1950's :p

The nice architecture

Lobby of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building

We walked over to the opposite of Sultan Abdul Samad building... i.e. The Merdeka Square
The Merdeka Square has the world tallest flag pole and flower pots.

National Bank (where Ringgit is made)

One of the oldest church in KL - built 1894

Old and New come together

We completed our old KL shooting and decided to take a train over to the tallest twin in the world :-p The Petronas Twin Tower... Stay tune for next entry : World Tallest Twin...
